「Quirky place with high standard. It must have been a challenge to run a hotel in such an old building. My bathroom was freshly updated in a modern theme and worked to perfection. The bed was comfy and had a interesting frame. Nothing wrong with it but at some point in its life it must have had a water accident. It did not affect my sleep. We did not dine in nor did i have breakfast. It was a bit to expensive」

「Cleanliness - 3/5. For the most part the room was clean and looked amazing. However, underneath the bed and behind some furniture there was a lot of dust. Location - 5/5. We wanted a hotel in the vicinity of Goring and it delivered. Being next to the river is also a bonus. Service - 5/5. We didn't require much staff service but when we did, e.g. check in or check out, they were both friendly and efficient. Amenities - 3/5. I was very happy with the amenities provided in the room. There was a good selection of teas, coffees and biscuits, and there was milk in the fridge. However, my fridge made noise all night long and kept me awake, so despite the advantage of having a room with a fridge, it was quite an uncomfortable experience.」
