大象飯店

I had a lovely stay here, just a quick 1 night but would love to stay again. The pub downstairs was very quaint and it was only a 5 minute walk to the train station. All rooms have a different theme which was quirky. The only thing I would suggest in my room (room 6) is to get rid of some of the furniture and the chunky bed frame as it seemed crowded and hard to move around the room. Thanks for having me.

Essential booing information not passed on, but when I checked the reception was able to accommodate my needs an extra bed and change rooms a I had 2 dogs, the hotel was extremely clean, comfortable cosy bed and amazing shower. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Quirky place with high standard. It must have been a challenge to run a hotel in such an old building. My bathroom was freshly updated in a modern theme and worked to perfection. The bed was comfy and had a interesting frame. Nothing wrong with it but at some point in its life it must have had a water accident. It did not affect my sleep. We did not dine in nor did i have breakfast. It was a bit to expensive

The room was clean , with Tea, coffee, kettle and a fan very much appreciated. Bed clean and comfy, pillows far too flat though. Bathroom clean and shower lovely needed the window open fully due to the heat and as we over looked the car park and road we had a lot of outside noise plus trains but couldnt be helped. generally happy with.the room for the one night stay, thankyou 😁

The room was clean overall but didn't get a deep clean for a long time, some old stained curtains, noisy floor and dysfunctional shower with only really hot water flowing. The food at was a bit tasteless, but the garden and interior were really cosy and nice. Service was good too. Thanks

The real down about our stay was the fact that the bar, after eating at 7.30pm, was closed at 9pm, even to those staying at the Elephant.

Nice hotel in convenient location.
