白色雄鹿飯店(The White Hart)

Popped in on a wild and windy weekend - good to find pub busy and the lunch exceeded expectations and almost our appetites - yorkshire puddings to die for! Parking limited in the square but overflow area just up the road. Worth booking in advance even in January.

I visited the White Hart with family for an evening meal. Two of us had burgers which cost around £15 for the bun with 2 burgers and a small slice of cheese. The burgers themselves were disgusting. The "meat" was of very poor quality, and seemed to have been heated in water and not cooked under a grill or on a hotplate. They tasted horrible. I would have complained at the time but circumstances were such that it wasn't possible.

Booked lunch for 1pm arrived to a friendly welcome showed our table and ordered drinks and food .A good sigh that the locals use the pub. Lunch arrived hot and nicely presented 5 veggies roast potatoes beautifully cooked meat a wonderful meal best Sunday meal I have had for a while well done everyone thank you

Booked here for dinner one evening while on holiday we were looked after by friendly staff were treated very well, had nice evening meal nothing was too much trouble, it was a mixture of food pub and drinking pub which is good to see and was very well supported

Had 2 nights B and B at the white hart. very comfortable ensuite room. very large bed.. has tea and coffee making facilities. only thing i can complain about is the TV is too small.. once in bed watching tv I couldnt read the guide as it was tiny, guess these days everyone is used to watching a large flat screen tv. We had the roast lunch on Sunday. and have to say it was the best Sunday lunch we have had in a pub. tender meats and lots of it.. crispy roast potatoes and lovely veg and gravy tasted amazing. and huge yorkshire pudding. will deffo be visiting again just for the roast dinner!!

Great friendly atmosphere. Helpful staff. Good food. Freshly cooked breakfast. very clean and comfortable.

Unless you are local, don’t bother! The most unfriendly ‘family friendly’ place I’ve been to during our stay in Cornwall! We wanted a family meal on a busy local event, but we’re totally ignored! Try the other pub across the square for great food and hospitality!

We’ve been going camping in St Keverne during the summer as a large group of families for a few years now and have always gone to The White Hart for drinks as it’s the local. This year was the first time we ate here and the food was so good the first night that we went back the night after for dinner again. The burgers were delicious but the pizza was just amazing. We had a load of sides come with our pizza’s to have a bit of a picky platter and there wasn’t a single thing I could fault. I asked to swap my base to BBQ which wasn’t a problem at all. The staff are all very friendly and were accommodating to our large party and feral children. A big bonus that dogs are welcome! We will definitely be returning for food when we are next visiting!

We have eaten here, a few times as a family now, and I have to say every time we haven’t been disappointed. Food and service was great and I also feel it’s pretty good value for money. It’s good old decent homemade pub grub, wash down with a proper Cornish pint.
