Residence Inn Durham McPherson/Duke University Medical Center Area

It was a very nice place and very close to where we wanted to be. My biggest complaint would be that we did not need that big of room or the kitchen so would have preferred to pay less for a smaller room. Also was not pleased they wanted to charge extra for parking on top of the already pricey room.

Nice place. Parking is NOT free despite ********** saying it is. Desk clerk said ********** has been contacted numerous times to delete reference to free parking. Website says parking costs $12/day. Pool is small but looks nice. Breakfast is nicer than most hotels provide.

Very nice property, convenient location. Despite being renovated there are several bugs in the design and age of the system that create issues with the functioning of the AC system and electrical system. Otherwise very well designed and very comfortable. Good breakfast included.

Was a great last minute booking but everything was very nice. The only issue was that we could not get the heat or the AC to turn on, luckily the temperature was fine so it wasn’t that big of an issue.

Expensive but perfect. Big room with full fridge, couch, desk. Great breakfast with real food. Quiet, clean, easy parking, good location. Perfect.

The hotel was very nice. Customer service was good. The room was very clean and up to date.

Loved this hotel! The room was spacious; as two adults with an infant in a crib, we had more than enough room. We only stayed a few nights but would have been comfortable for a longer time. There is a good-sized kitchen, very large bathroom, ample clothing storage space, and the room is laid out comfortably. There is a lot of parking available, which I had been unable to find at neighboring hotels. It’s a short walk to Duke’s East Campus and a quick drive to West and the Gardens. It’s also a very easy walk to Downtown Durham.

I liked the easy access to shops and food, as well as downtown and the interstate. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good (and free) and the staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful.
