羅斯特伊古安娜度假飯店和Spa(Lost Iguana Resort and Spa)

La chambre était parfaite le seul petit bémol c'est les lits doubles vraiment trop petits , mais sinon nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Great hotel, nice trip, good service . Can not complain anything, hope you have the same feeling too

Vistas increibles al volcan desde nuestra habitacion, la comida del restaurante para cenar muy rica y abundante y la piscina climatizada un buen lugar para tomarse algo despues de un dia de esfuerzo. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento y nos ayudaron con nuestras reservas de actividades y conocen la zona muy bien. Recomendaria añadir mas variedad en el desayuno e iluminar la habitacion un poco mejor. Puede parecer que hotel esta un poco lejos de La Fortuna pero es una situacion tranquila, silenciosa y que te permite disfrutar del lugar, y a tan solo 4 mins en coche de los puentes colgantes!

It’s a paradise. The views of the Arenal volcano and surroundings are breathtaking. It’s a perfect place to connect with nature and feed your soul with positive energy ❤️ Resort staff is amazing. They go above and beyond making sure your stay is comfortable and memorable. I can’t wait to go back. Pura Vida ❤️

The Lost Iguana was amazing! The room, the bed, the pools, the restaurant and spa, and the surrounding area were so much more than we even imagined. There was a coatimundi (pizote) who wandered around, a bit too comfortable with us guests, but it was SO CUTE. The nature trail around the property was incredible - we saw so much wildlife. And the staff were all so great - kind and helpful and funny. Literally my only complaint was that there are no hooks/towel bars anywhere in the rooms so it was really tough to dry things after a day in the pool/rain/humidity -- but my guess is that if I'd asked, they would have helped us dry our things each day too!

The property is beautiful and a unique setting. The food was good and service prompt at the restaurant. We have two complaints. One was that the hotel really pushed guests to book tours and I did not realize until after we checked out that we had been charged $20 for transportation to the suspension bridges which was five minutes away and the hotel knew we had a car. That charge was unseemly and speaks to a mercenary practice which belies the marketed image. The other issue was service. We had driven for hours through the rain to reach the hotel. No one helped us with bags or showed us to the room. The staff knew that electricity had gone out, but no one told us. It took three attempts walking up and down a steep hill to get into our room. The Lost Iguana was our first hotel in Costa Rica. The service we received in the second and third was much better.

I have to admit we were a bit bummed out we stayed three nights here. The rooms were small and outdated. The view of the volcano was nice and the restaurant had relatively cheap and decent menu items. The property is very secluded so you would need a car here and since it is far out of town you are stuck eating dinner there if you don’t want to brave night on crazy roads. You must climb to your room up a hill. There is a sad workout room with an old bike and treadmill. The area is pretty and there is a nice jungle hike trail but when we moved to another hotel in La Fortuna, we were more disappointed with Iguana since it was also pretty expensive.

The staff and facilities at the Lost Iguana were incredible! The location was perfect, slightly remote, but still easy driving distance to all of Arenal’s destinations and activities. Amazing volcano views from every room. We were stunned at the incredible view of the volcano from our room. Staff makes its so easy and convenient to book excursions (including transportation if needed) so we were able to book some of our favorite adventures at the last minute. The breakfast was also incredible! You get treated like family here, everyone was so incredibly kind! We can’t wait to visit this beautiful country and stay at this wonderful resort again in the future!

The resort was very nice and set deep in the rainforest with terrific views of the Arenal volcano. The food was amazing. We didn’t have a bad dish the entire time we were there! The outdoor shower had a small screened in window and screened in roof to keep bugs and animals out which was neat! In the week we were there the water went out 2 days while we were there for the majority of one day and a couple hours of the other. It was very inconvenient, especially when traveling with small children who needed frequent diaper changes and left me with soiled hands. I wish the resort had offered bottled water to assist us or come up with some other plan. The resort was a great location for Sky Adventures (zip lining) and Mistico hanging bridges. We loved Costa Rica and all it had to offer!
