馬車和馬旅館(Waggon and Horses)

這家飯店絕對是物超所值。我們為此付出了非常公平的價格，我個人認為他們應該收取比實際更高的價格。業主很可愛。步行約十分鐘即可到達約克市中心。有免費停車位，車位緊張，但業主很樂意幫我們停車。我們把鑰匙留給了他，這樣如果汽車需要移動，我們就不會被打擾。我們有一個非常漂亮的房間。房間舒適又乾淨。下面有一家酒吧，我和妹妹一直待在那裡，直到他們打烊為止。我們在酒吧玩了一些遊戲，他們給了我們一包卡片供我們使用，這很方便。早上的早餐很美。我希望我們住的時間比一晚長！如果我需要在約克找個地方住，我肯定會住在這裡。

We had the king-size bedroom at the front room 4 if I remember correctly was a lovely room with view of a lovely church. Everything was perfect this was 4 nights stay with breakfast our 10th anniversary gift to ourselves. My only dissapoin**ent was it didn't do evening menu other than this its a great place the staff and owners are great and really friendly. We will be back.

I recently completed a two night stay at the Waggon and Horses on Lawrence Street in York and it was a very pleasant experience. The owners and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room and bathroom were spotless and all of the basic relevant facilities anyone would need were provided. The Breakfast was brilliant. One of the best I’ve ever had at hotel/BnBs and I am quite a seasoned traveller. For a very tourist heavy city such as York the prices here are extremely reasonable. The bar itself has a wonderful selection of cask ales including one of my personal favourites (Oakham Citra) so it was the ideal spot for me really. City attractions are in walking range of the Waggon and there is also ample public transport options. This place is highly recommended.

We booked this hotel after viewing the rooms on their website, but we were allocated something completely different. It was a small room with a double bed, with a small unit either side of it, which filled the width of the longest wall. The room was cold all the time with no means of heating it, but the rest of the parts in the hotel we went to in the building were warm. The room was situated above the tunnel through to the carpark. When we woke up in the morning it felt like we were in a tent. The windows were running with condensation even although it was July. The bedding always felt cold and damp to touch. Even our clothing felt cold and damp in the tiny wardrobe. One of the pillows even had a complete dirty trainer footprint on it. How someone could make up a bed and miss that is shocking. The only positive was the young staff members who were all nice, which helped, but I would never stay there again. Avoid room 6, it is not shown on their website.

We booked a buffet and reversed tables for a staff leaving do. Everything was excellent: Beer - excellent, Food - excellent (great options for those with dietary needs), Organisation and communication - excellent. Thanks for making it a great event.
