The rooms need some maintenance, better cleaning, and are starting to show wear. The first thing I noticed when I checked in was some kind of BBQ sauce or Ketchup smeared on the remote control. The same sauce was smeared on the edge of the desk/counter near the TV. Obviously the cleaning people did not spray and wipe down both of these areas. The carpet floors also needed to be vacuumed better. There were bits and pieces of lint, debris, clothing tag stems, hair, etc. The TV screen was going bad and had bright spots on the screen. The shower head leaked so that water sprayed at the connection towards the shower curtain, the fixtures and grab bar in the shower were loose and the stopper was broken so that it would not stay open and water would accumulate in the tub and fill up as you showered. The ventilation system in the bathroom also either does not work or is very low powered so that steam builds up in the bathroom quickly. Overall the staff is really nice, the lobby area updated, clean, modern with a nice bar and food/snack/coffee area.
