Basic accommodation.

Auberges de jeunesse salle de bain dans le couloir. Décoration un peu glauque photos noire et blanc encadrer dans le couloir des anciens eleves. Cette établissement etait un ancien lycee. Nous avons payer 200e pour 1 nuit a 2 adultes 2 enfants. Un peut chere a mon avis pour se que cest !!! Petit déjeuner compris Pas tres propre niveau des douches et une douche etait casse. L interrupteur pour eclaire notre chambre faisais saute les plombs de tout l'étage. Un peux galère car nous avion du mal a trouver le personnel pour remettre le courants. Les fois d apres cest moi qui allait remettre le courants !! Personnel sur place sympathiques. Pour finir cette établissement est ok pour jeune ou couple mais pas les familles un peu complique.

Check-in and out was very easy. I liked that it was a few minutes’ walk to two waterfalls and a folk museum, as well as an excellent fish and chips cart. The breakfast provided for guests each morning was good, a wide variety of options were available. I was disappointed that this place didn’t have a full kitchen for cooking my own meals, but there was a microwave, electric kettle, and mini fridge available. Overall I would recommend this place as a budget friendly option.

This place needs some love, but the staff was sweet, the rooms clean, the neighborhood fantastic: Cows, Skogafoss and the Skogar Folk Museum which is very underrated and should be more popular are all in walking distance. Fix up the hot tub, a little paint, better "kitchen" facilities for the self-cater and it would be SWEET. The public pool in Vik is excellent and you can shower there for 600kr.

Bed linen and pillow cases seem not clean. We stayed consecutive 3 nights. The towels were not changed for 2 nights. On the 3rd day, we met the housekeeping staff and asked him to change towels. He answered that he only changed towels for rooms that had been checked out and informed us to go to the reception at the main building 200m away from the annex building where we lived. Apparently he was changing towels and nothing else

Interesting former boarding school, so it is more of a very basic hostel than a guesthouse. We booked a family room which was very spacious. Breakfast was great. Very close to 2 beautiful waterfalls, as well as a fabulous museum. Our only issue was being overbilled (booked thru ******* for 370 euro for 2 nights, but charged 406 euro) for our stay, which we did not discover until after our return home since prepayment was processed prior to arrival. Attempts to contact the property to resolve this issue have been ignored, and ******* was unable to resolve the issue either.
