令人驚嘆的位置提供美妙的景色......但絕對不是五星級酒店。沒有酒吧，主接待處關閉，新接待處是一間小辦公室。總的來說急需翻新。酒店的主要景點之一是您可以直接從酒店乘坐電梯前往納夫普利翁老城區。有三個和兩個顯然對我來說已經壞了好幾個月了。當我們在那裡時，第 3 輛車壞了，我們步行到鎮上很熱。偶爾工作的電梯很髒，滿是塗鴉和尿味，這對 1 星級酒店來說是一種尷尬。總的來說，價格過高，過時且令人沮喪。我們留下來是因為我們不相信其他評論……它們都是準確的！避免

Stayed at this hotel during a tour of Greece through Collette tour company the (Classical Greece Tour). What a nightmare! Was placed in the "old" section of hotel. The rooms dingy, musty, dark, the balcony had a old rotten piece of 2x4 nailed across the end to keep you from falling off. The bathrooms were awful. Stained bathtub, sediment would come out of faucet and be in the sink and toilet... was disgusting. Was told upon check in that water must not be consumed even when brushing teeth...but ok to shower with?. The odor from the rooms would linger on your clothes long after you left the hotel. Took two days to have any hot water in the shower. The three staff member that worked the desk, bar, and restaurant told our group that the placed had been closed and was open for our arrival. Was informed that they did have free WIFI but it would not work anywhere other than standing at the front desk. The Newer section of the hotel appeared to be beautiful, nice rooms, infinity pool. We approach this area because our pool was horrible, was promptly met by security and informed that even though it was the same hotel we were not allowed on this part of the property. What a horrible experience. Shame on Collette for this property. So, many other nice looking hotels in the city.

The whole experience started at the reception where the staff is unfriendly and not fit for a hospitality job. The pool is dead and I had to call reception for someone to come serve me a drink. The waiter is a student who doesn’t know a word of English and she doesn’t know what’s on tte menu. The breakfast was below poor and cheap and when I told the waitress I didn’t like the coffee she bluntly rolled her eyes in my face. They didn’t even have a coffee making facility in the room. Nothing not even a bottle of water. We paid 600 euros for one night in a place that seems completely forgotten and prehistoric. Please avoid it and for the view just go up the hill and take pictures. Avoid avoid avoid

What a wonderful hotel! We stayed in the Villas section and had two rooms. One for our children and nanny, and one for my husband and I. The decks and views were amazing! The bathrooms were nicely separated so someone could shower while another did make up. :) There are two pools, one for the villa section and one for the rest. The villa pool was perfect for relaxing and quit while we used the other pool with friends and their children to relax and enjoy the view. This pool had drink service. Staff was kind and courteous! The chefs at breakfast encouraged us to try the Greek dessert and we loved it! We wouldn't have tried without their encouragement. We also planned a dinner on our deck and invited friends staying in town. We were able to visit and enjoy while watching the sun set over town. The elevator down to the town looked a little out of something like Gotham city, but once over that, it was a very short walk to the ocean side cafes and town. Stay in the Villas and have a wonderful time! For those saying it is expensive and old, well, we came here after staying in London at the Mélia hotel. This was so much less expensive. It's all about perspective and expectations. :) Happy Travels

We stayed in one of the villas - not the hotel itself, which seemed to be closed. The location is stunning, with fantastic views over the bay. The villa was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were pleasant and courteous. Breakfast in the restaurant was good. When it was new, this would have been an incredible place to stay. But it needs a programme of updating and renovation, as too many things are broken and haven't been replaced. In our villa that included the jacuzzi bath, the pool controls, electric sun blinds, curtains, some of the lights... And of course the famous lifts to the town - one of three only working. Overall the exterior areas are tatty, with trees starting to grow where they shouldn't be, and some litter picking would be helpful. There is a complete lack of signage on arrival, it took us some time to find the parking garage, and we stood about calling for a while at the reception desk before someone came and showed us the way to the reception for the villas, which is somewhat hidden away. It is a super place to stay, but with the problems it has doesn't deserve to be 5* - somewhere between 3* and 4* would be more appropriate.

What in the world a hotel does not provide the proper internet service these days. You need to go to the reception desk to use the internet!!! The connection in the room was so bad. We complained during our 2 day stay and it was not resolved. The villa we stayed had jacuzzi but it was a nightmare. It was turned on without water in the tub 20 min. after the drainage, and turned off by itself in 20 sec. We reported but the reception desk seemed careless without asking what the problem was. The bathroom was not clean enough. The hotel/villa itself provides amazing views but it was not worth the money we spent on the hotel!!

Set amongst a stunning town, with spectacular views is Greece's most overrated 5 star hotel. It's such a shame, as this hotel has such potential, and it's been ruined by lack of pride and care. The lawns are not mowed, pools are not heated (despite this being advertised), live wires were exposed close to our pool area, and 2 out of three lifts were not in order. The entrance to the lift area is downright disgraceful, with the foyer smelling like urine, graffiti on walls, and no signage. The WIFI doesn't work properly, and there is little to no service at the hotel. The staff we did encounter were friendly, but there is really no excuses for the lack of maintenance. The furniture is extremely dated (and in my opinion, just plain ugly), but to their credit, the bathrooms are beautiful, spacious and have great amenities. With no exaggeration of there being about 100 light switches in the villa, you have no chance of figuring out how to open blinds and turn on lights (mostly because there are so many, but also because the switches may not even work due to lack of maitenance!), even after 3 nights of being there. You are better off staying in the gorgeous boutique hotels that are situated IN the old town, considering this hotel is outrageously expensive and overpriced for what it is. The saving grace is the stunning views across the bay, and the gorgeous town itself. Worth also noting that the hotel does have a lift (makes me sick with worry wondering if the lift is even serviced, as if you got stuck in there, there'd be no chance of being saved or anyone hearing you!), but the lift does not take you directly into the main town - The main town is about a 5 minute walk from the lift. Such a sad waste - I wish management would get their act together, as this is truly a site with so much history and potential. It's sacrilege to say the least.

A fabulous hotel and restaurant! We booked a Premier Villa but were upgraded to an Ambassador Suite - wow!! Twin jacuzzi baths, 3 separate rooms and a huge balcony overlooking Nafplio and the sea. The food in the restaurant is exceptional. Everything is perfect and nothing is too much trouble. What a wonderful place!

positives: check in staff/restaurant were kind and friendly, the breakfast & view lovely,however, 1st room (we paid for the ambassador suite with private pool) initially given room 401. Size was great ,but, even for pre-covid standards the room was unhygenic. There was a sticky beverage spill down front of mini kitchen cupboard, the bathroom counters had staining, water and appeared to not have been cleaned. There were liquid stains around the toilet and running down wall behind the toilet. The room smelled very musty and unclean. The patio furniture was coming apart. 3 staff came to see and all agreed not to standard so bought us a drink while we waited another hour for another room (already past 5 pm). The next room was significantly smaller but cleaner. We were tired & took the room but it was not the 950-1150 sq foot size of ambassador suite, rather approx. 650 sq feet one bathroom sink, no sink/microwave. No renumeration for the difference in suite level, told it was ambassador suite but no ambassador suite online was close to that small. The pool had wall unit and jets to swim as a lap pool, they said never hooked up the jets & pool not heated, cold. No wifi reception - staff said that wing of hotel never has. It is problem for those needing to do any business or streaming. Elevators to the town were broken & driveway up hill too long and steep for most to walk. Had to drive & parking challenging in town. Maritsa & George the luggage assistant were great.

Once this was a great hotel on a great location. The spacious rooms are the only thing left, with a tiny reception and a dining room that has to serve as just that, but also as a lounge, a bar ... no one ever goes there. It misses everything that makes such a hotel fun, cosy and special. It is just a place to sleep, for everything else you have to go into town. It is owned by a family in financial trouble and they cut costs on everything. Maintenance is zero! In our first room there came hardly any water out of the tap or the shover, the bubble bad didn't work and the door jammed. Not even worth half the price they ask! The staff is very friendly though and does everything to fix things for you (in our case an upgrade to a room with working plumbing). Until the day we left and couldn't enter our room after breakfast: the door blocked! Stay away!

Giving this hotel a 4.5 hinge rating, as these tired feet need a good night’s sleep. Nice central location. The town square is close by and a walk along the waterfront is nice. Not much traffic or tourist this time of the year

Except for the lack of Wi-Fi this is a pretty good hotel. Our room was clean, spacious and had a great view. Nice pools with great views. The staff was very helpful in setting up a trip to the ruins as well as transportation. It has a great location above the old town, and is easy walking distance to a nice beach and some impressive ruins from one of the old fortresses. There’s an elevator down to the parking lot at the beginning of the old town, and if you don’t feel like walking back up the it’s a cheap €5 taxi from the taxi stand in town. Probably doesn’t rate 5 stars because of the lack of WiFi but we just used the hotspot on my IPhone and had no problems. I think some of the reviews are unfairly critical and I would recommend staying there.
