Hotel for the price it was 10/10 loads of near by shopping places for gifts/clothes and food places.
Lots of choice food Al Tajj boasted chicken seems to be the most popular just a 3min walk away has money exchange next door too with good rates tons of places do desi nashta+karak chai very nice 90% are take away ONLY .
Nearest entertrance to Al Haram is jabal omar hiltion side its a 20min walk or a 10-20 Riyal taxi they do provide bus never used it.
Don't expect the rooms to look exactly like the pictures they are abit worn out.
Room tip:
ONLY STAY in tower one and get room 25th floor and above.
They have 2x Al kiswah tower on most sites aviod ”tower 5” its cheaper.
Prayer rooms are available for both male/females.
Reception staff are useless and don't care about any requests/enquiries made by guests Bag got lost we tried 2 days for them to assist they didn't care i even asked security to check CCVT to see if the house keeping picked it up for lost property they just lied said they didn't see anyone take it,when house keeping came to clean the room I spoke to them about it they advised me go straight to B1 cleaning office they take all lost property there I it was.
If you ever lose anything go straight to B1 House keeping office that's where the lost property is kept.
Very very cheap hotel can't fault it price loads of visitors from the UK staying there.
The overall experience at the hotel was good. Its location is a convenient 3 to 4-minute walk from the Haram, though the slope on the way back can be a bit challenging for older individuals—but it's manageable. The food quality stood out, with fresh and delicious options. I particularly fell in love with the croissants; they were irresistibly fresh and crispy. The room size and furniture were comfortable and met expectations. However, one peculiar observation was the noticeable smell in the hallway, which I couldn't quite place.
Dekat sekali dengan masjidil haram tempat nyaman bersih ada bin dawood dan food court staf stafnya sangat ramah , semoga bisa kembali lagi kesini terima kasih Hilton suites mekah
This hotel is next level unreal! The pictures of the rooms don't do it justice, it's way better in reality (at least in my case). We booked three rooms for 5 nights in Jan/ Feb 2025, were located in tower 3 - Al Falak Tower in rooms 708/ 6**/6**. The bathrooms were unbelievable, all stunning white marble with some super fancy design, so so amazing, the shower was so big you could fit like 7 people in there, I have never stayed in such a luxury room before. Ceilings are like 4 metres, really unbelievable. The colour palette for the room was muted greys and pastels, it looked very nice, suited the room and location. One thing that would be useful, can the hotel just install a Japanese bidet instead of a separate one, I think it's a waste installing a standalone bidet and the all-in-one bidet toilet is current technology, so it would be useful compared to the current setup (Toto toilet, etc).
Now, the sad bit. The distance from the Haram is advertised as not far, and it isn't. But the reality is it's extremely difficult to enter the haram, because of the crowds, it is just heaving. The police close off the haram to outsiders as soon as the adhaan goes, so you can't enter (be aware), and you'll have to pray outside the boundaries of the haram if you are not inside the area before the adhaan (this may be subject to change, and I cannot confirm how they arrange their opening times etc, please confirm on your own travels).
Inside the haram, there is ridiculous construction work going on, all entrances are purposefully blocked, so that huge traffic builds up (I remember 10 years ago in 2014 when I stayed at Bai Al Abraaj, you could just walk into the Ma3taf area of the haram in about 5 minutes, now it is impossible. ). I have no idea what the government is doing, but it seems to intentionally be closing off areas to stop people from entering, which is really a shame. It seems that the purpose is that you rather go to all the shops and malls outside the mall, or pray inside your hotel rather than venture out, this seems the goal of the current administration by closing off all entrances, or causing huge areas to be cordoned off so that getting in easily is impossible. I got so sick of the crowds that i ended up not wanting to go into the haram afterwards (the crowds inside are really next level crazy, they will push and drive wheelchairs up your legs and cut you - happened to me but maybe I was just unlucky).
The hotel is exceptional and so is the buffet breakfast/ dinner - breakfast is between 90 - 119riyals, and dinner is about 149 riyals. Food is amazing, but it's sad that most people pile their plates with croissants etc, don't take a bite and throw it away, such a shame. I hope the hotel can have signs up to prevent such ridiculous wastage, or at least give this food to the outside poor people.

The room is clean and very well equipped.
The location is good, the entrance to the haram is a little bit tricky under the highway.
The food options and buffet are a bit expensive.
SSmileeeI had the pleasure of staying at Violet Hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and I wanted to share my experience with everyone considering a trip to this holy city.
First, the location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is situated just a short distance from the Haram, making it incredibly convenient for performing prayers and attending religious duties. The view from my room offered a beautiful sight of the surroundings, providing a serene feel which added to my spiritual journey.
The staff at Violet Hotel deserve special mention. From the moment I checked in, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The concierge service was particularly helpful in assisting me with local transportation and offering advice on places to visit.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I appreciated the modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a fully-stocked minibar. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to get some much-needed rest after long days of prayers and exploration. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring the room was spotless each day.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, from local Saudi dishes to international fare, all prepared with fresh ingredients. I also dined at the in-house restaurant for dinner a couple of times, and the meals were absolutely delightful.
In terms of facilities, the Violet Hotel offers several amenities that enhance the guest experience. There is a well-equipped fitness center, which I found extremely beneficial to keep up with my exercise routine. The business center also came in handy as I needed to catch up on some work during my stay.
Overall, my experience at Violet Hotel was exceptional. Whether you are visiting Makkah for a spiritual pilgrimage or just to explore the city, I highly recommend staying here. The combination of its prime location, excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic dining options make it a great choice for any traveler.
