We only stayed for one night. We had a lovely room on the second floor and everything that we’d expect from a good hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a continental buffet and cooked to order choice. It was quite expensive though and would have been nice to be included in the room rate. Our only criticism would be the bar / restaurant area which was in the basement. It catered for everyone including children, we would of liked an adult only area to relax in and enjoy a afternoon / evening drink.

The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. The hotel is in a great area and is very conveniently located near the South Kensington station. The area is safe and walkable and is near museums and shopping. The hotel itself was charming, clean, and comfortable with great amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at the Ampersand many times now and there is a reason for that. It's just a lovely place to stay. Everything is clean and comfortable, the staff are lovely, and any problems are quickly sorted. This time, there was a minor problem with my booking (not the hotel's doing) that was sorted out quickly and efficiently. I use hotels a fair bit, and the Ampersand certainly at the top of the list. I will continue to use the Ampersand whenever I am in London.

Hotel was amazing! Clean, friendly staff, and a one minute walk from the South Kensington station. Plenty of breakfast/brunch places to eat at nearby, with a pub or two open until 11pm. Very quiet area, you’ll have no issues with outside noise. My only “warning” is that the beds are VERY soft, was not an issue for us, but if you need a firm bed, I would contact the hotel (could have simply been our bed, first floor, room 11) — can’t wait to return, this hotel was amazing!

Fabulous friendly staff. In room dining quality was excellent, breakfast was enough to last till dinner. Lovely, well decorated clean room and great shower. Great vibey area with a large choice of restaurants nearby. Easy short walk to the V&A, Natural History Museum and Harrods. Great value and a great place to stay when visiting London.

It was a great stay at a beautiful, well kept boutique hotel. Everything about the stay was terrific with the exception of the air in the room not being able to be regulated. The room was very hot at night despite the help very nicely provided by the front desk. The location is terrific with pubs, restaurants and the train station within walking distance. I would stay here again!

Veldig positivt opphold på hotell med praktisk beliggenhet og god verdi for pengene. Ikke overdådig luksus, men stilfullt og tilstrekkelig oppdatert. Hyggelig staff, fint deluxe room med stort bad og god seng. Absolutt anbefalt!
