I found it poor that we had to first go to customer services and then over to the house to be booked in, surely this could be in one place. My Wife who is disabled wished to use the toilet, but the Ladies is up some steps and the disabled is in the Garden Room, (when wishing to use these on the second day, we found the Doors locked, even though told they would always be open) So on both times my Wife had to use the Gents. (Note: the right hand one is loose, not bolted to the floor). We were told the Tree House was ready, but found it was still being cleaned! The outside lights did not work, nor is there a light down the side of the house. Very poor as an Accessible house and also a gap in the fence for steps. The room was very hot and the cooling fan remote did not work. The T.V did not work, I found this was due to only one battery in the remote. In trying to contact the office, found the phone was unplugged but still did not work, again very poor as this is an Accessible house. Called the office from my phone, a maintenance man came out, but only brought AAA not AA batteries. On returning along with Chloe, fixed the T.V and confirmed the other remote, lights and phone did not work. Chloe, kindly left her torch with us, and the back lights were fixed. I would also like to point out, that some of the areas should be looked at and made disabled/wheelchair friendly, and wouldn't take much to do. When I was at the Baboon scatter feed, the rails on the centre section are to low, and i very nearly fell backwards, when food was passed across me. The Dinner was fine, except they did not know about the booking package, and the cocktail drink was not supplied. told no voucher no drink. Breakfast was just a very bad experience,The table was not laid out, service was very slow and poor as if we were an inconvenience. We had to ask for knives, forks and side plates. Tomato sauce took so long we had already eaten. Asked for bread and butter twice, Toast was slow and cold even the second batch was cold. On leaving we were asked to pay, we advised we had a package and this was part of it, told it would be charged to the room and to take it up with customer services! We did so and advised that the package was new? but we booked on 04.09.2023? And system was not updated. All the above was relaid to Concierge / Customer Service's at the time, and on their Review e-mail, We have yet to receive ANY feed back from the Management Team.
