Another great stay.. everything is there for you that you need. Great bed linen,pillows and towels. Everything is high quality. The breakfast is superb and yiu even get a muffin each for the journey home. A truly lovely experience and we dont stay anywhere else now.

Picked this lovely seaside hotel to see a show at the local theatre. It delivered everything thing you could ask for: Good old fashioned hospitality, warm welcome from a lovely landlady, fabulous comfy bed and a tastefully decorated room. Spotlessly clean and plenty of tea/coffee bits. The breakfast served in a typical small seaside hotel was superb. Plenty of choice and beautifully cooked and presented. The hotel looks a tad old fashioned from the outside but don't be put off. The heart is in the inside and the warm welcome you will receive. Loved it!

Exceptional hotel! Can't fault anything with the Chudleigh. Stayed for 3 nights over the Chris**as period and was a joy to stay at. The owners and all the staff are so welcoming and friendly and do an amazing job. The cleanliness, facilities, comfort and breakfast are all outstanding.would definitely recommend and be more than happy to return there myself!

Comfy bed and clean room. Also excellent breakfast served. Carol was so polite. Overall enjoyable stay and looking for next visit in summer.

A wonderful overnight stay at this little gem in the heart of Clacton. Easy walk to everything needed locally including the beach. Wonderful hosts couldn't do enough for you and fantastic breakfast. Clean and tidy room with lots of nice touches to make you feel welcome. Would highly recommend.

Carol & Peter, their staff, are wonderful hosts. Their attention to every detail is exemplary. This is one of my very best stays ever!! Breakfasts are a magnificent feast! With a superbly cooked breakfast, vast choice of cereals, fresh fruit of the season, assorted fruit juices, yoghurts, toast-a-plenty, to quality teas & coffee. Also a gift of assorted choice of Muffins. Rooms are fastidiously clean, very well appointed! Lovely soft towels that dry you so well, also luxurious bedding. Quality choice of assorted items on hospitality tray in your room, including Fairtrade Chocolate Bar too. Free parking. Very close to the seafront, shops and local bus routes. Thoroughly deserved first class reviews. The Chudleigh is the best of the very, very best!! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, much appreciated. Thank you Carol and Peter.

Fabulous dog friendly accommodation. Extremely comfortable bed, quality ‘complementaries’, delicious breakfast and lovely owners. On site parking was a huge bonus as I am registered disabled. We will certainly stay again next time we come this way.

No trip to England is complete without staying at a classic English bed and breakfast. And this one in my husbands home town of Clacton ticks all the boxes with the seafront at the end of the road. Our room was very spacious and quiet, you could open the window and hear the seagulls. Lots of homely touches here, not the generic experience you get in a chain hotel, very comfy. There's the sitting room downstairs with the dining room for breakfast at set hours; the resident family dog. Friendly personable service from a long time local who recommended a Thai restaurant for dinner which was very good. A hearty English breakfast was served which was a bit on the salty side but the muffins at the end to take away were delicious. We will definitely be booking here again on our next trip to Clacton.

Wow such an amazing stay, very welcoming, absolutely spotless, the most comfiest bed and the best pillows ever! Breakfast was top notch! We will DEFINITELY be returning. Carol and her husband were the perfect hosts
