Sehr gut ausgestattete Gästezimmer in einem Wohnquartier, hervorragendes Frühstück mit sympathischem Personal. Nach der ersten Übernachtung war der Wunsch nach einem Zimmerwechsel wegen der durchgelegenen Matratze überhaupt kein Problem. Leider waren die Gastgeber selbst nicht vor Ort.

Calme, propre, personnels accueillants, stationnement pour la voiture, petit déjeuner complet, grande chambre bien décorée avec cuisine, bref tout est parfait. Proche des centres d'intérêt. Un seul inconvenient il faut monter ses valises à l'étage. A recommander sans aucun doute.

A lovely stay over the very busy literary festival weekend - despite the fact that the guesthouse was full, we never felt rushed or cramped, but were treated with warmth, courtesy and efficient service throughout our stay. Room 2 was perfectly comfortable with good climate control, nice in-room coffee station (we really appreciated the coffee pods and home-baked biscuits!) and a spacious bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious with excellent coffee. We particularly appreciated the staff holding onto the phone charger we left behind in our room, and promptly facilitating its return to us via friends who had not yet left town. The location is close enough to walk easily to the main road restaurants and shops, but just a bit further back so as to be very quiet - even when the village was absolutely heaving with festival visitors. Thank you for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely room with Modern finishing and with a bathtub, great location (close to all the high rated restaurants and not on the main road, which gives privacy), great wine in the room (we loved Gentle Giant). We didn’t have time to use all the facilities of the place, but where we did - everything was easy, straightforward and convenient!

What a gem of a find by our travel agent. We were in a standard room, but believe me there was nothing basic about it. Spacious, dressing gowns, nespresso machine with pods. A shower that was fantastic. If you are looking for somewhere out of the crowds, but within a walking distance this is your place. The staff are amazing, nothing too much trouble. Would we stay here again, YES.

This was a fantastic place. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The staff working at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It was in a good location and I'd definitely stay again if I was in the area. Highly recommended.

Stayed a few times. Ideal location. The only suggestion to the owners is to move the safe. It is on the floor. No use for the disabled or elderly.

This was my fifth visit to Corner House and my first visit since renovations were recently completed. I was blown away. My usual room #1 Balcony Suite is even better than before, being much larger now that the room has been enlarged to include a huge full bathroom (there was no bath before). The buffet cold breakfast is also much more varied than before, offering juices, cereals, yoghurts, cold smoked trout, various cheeses, breads and croissants. Cooked breakfasts can be ordered on request. Another major change is that the residence is now off- grid, so no longer effected by load-shedding power cuts. And still one of the very few accommodation establishments in Franschhoek to be pet-friendly.

We had a ladies weekend getaway in the most beautiful ,clean ,warm and amazing place. We had an amazing experience at the guesthouse. The service was top-notch, and the place exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Corner House to anyone looking for quality and excellent service.

We stayed at The Corner Residence on the 05th and 06th of March and it exceeded our expectations! We loved every moment, it was raining when we arrived but that didn’t stop the staff from making us feeling catered for. We were initially nervous about taking our 3 month old daughter but our worries we’re quickly put at ease when she met the staff who immediately set up a cot for her in our room with blankets and everything. The place is close walking distance from all the cutest restaurants and sight sees although a delicious breakfast is already included! I especially enjoyed reading in their lush, well kept garden and my morning swim in their gorgeous pool, all of this whilst surrounded by the stunning mountains of Franschhoek. Everyone should stop by for the most comfortable sleep and an opportunity to escape the city life whilst still feeling quite at home.

Nice house with a nice garden an terrace to take breakfast. Breakfast was very good snd the granola was outstanding. The location is ideal, very calm and safe and yet you are only a short walk from the mainstreet. Unfortunatly we were short on schefule and could only stay 1 night. Would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely accommodation, welcoming hosts. Short walk into the beautiful town centre. Beds were extremely comfortable, great shower and air conditioning was much needed. Didn't have the breakfast but it looked lovely. ...................

Very nice guesthouse. Take care when booking breakfast, it is not automatically included, which I found very odd. Location is good for walking into town for restaurants and shops. Staff warm especially Ilias who did the wine tasting, a joy to be with and the gardner too... Light switches in a strange location near the TV. Rooms pleasant too.
