Holiday Inn Express is a great place to stay and a great value as well. Clean, friendly staff, complimentary buffet breakfast, and a convenient location off Interstate 10. The room also contained a microwave and refrigerator It's close to the main road in town where there are several options for eating.

I picked this hotel because it is pet friendly but it was absolutely the worst hotel I have stayed at. Coffee maker in the room had a piece missing where you put the filter so I could not make coffee. No elevators so if you get put on the second floor you have to carry all your luggage up by hand. Ate at the Lizard lounge for dinner and got sick from the meal. Water stains on the ceiling so guessing they had a leak. Only 2 towels in the bathroom, 1 per guest. The room itself looked very tired and in need of a makeover. Breakfast was very basic and they do not allow you to take anything out of the area so my husband could not even bring me a piece of dry toast to help settle my stomach after being sick from the meal the night before. They did give me a $25 refund because I got sick but I would never recommend or stay here again.

It's fine. Nothing special, nothing bad - it will meet your expectations for a one night stay en route to somewhere else. If you are going to stay longer, I'd check other options, mostly because the exit-only door at the end of the first-floor hallway kept getting propped open by smokers, meaning that (a) anyone could enter without a keycard and (b) secondhand smoke lingers in that area. All of Deming is a bit run down, I would push on through if I wasn't too tired.
