Alles perfekt

This hotel is beyond it expiration date. Limescale is clogged in the faucets so you need brute force to operate them. The small room is filled with a double and a single bed leaving no room for a table and some chairs. Good thing there is a water cooker and a small fridge in the room. It would even be better is there where some glasses and cups. The room was clean and housekeeping does a good job. The pool area is way to small to accommodate all the guests. The location of the hotel is perfect; just a 5 min. walk from the beach and boulevard.

Back home from a recent 10 night stay in this hotel. Close to amenities and beach. Disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. We had to actually ask to have the room cleaned. When we didn’t ask, the bin was changed and new towels. Had to ask for toilet rolls. Balcony was never swept or cleaned. There was a kettle but no cups so had to get these from breakfast. We asked for an iron but this wasn’t safe (wires showing and had a knot in the middle), no ironing board. Freezer compartment of the fridge not working. Hole in bed sheet. No dressing table or long length mirror unless you went into the corridor where there’s a large mirror. The light had been taken down from above the single bed and wires still showing. Also electrics covered up with plastic discs which kept falling off. Shower was good but bathroom had a funny smell and needed some TLC. Breakfast was good with a fair selection of fruits, bread, chips and cereal. We didn’t find the staff that friendly tbh. Be careful on the stairs as two guys slipped whilst we were there. The light on the stairs doesn’t work until you get to the top. Handrail a bit dodgy too. There is a lift however this takes ages to come. We didn’t have a pool day as all of the sun beds had towels on them from 6.30am plus it was sheltered by the adjoining buildings so no that much sun. We wouldn’t stay here again. We went as 3 adults. I understand you get what you pay for but have stayed elsewhere at the same price which was much better.

We arrived early hours of the morning after being delayed 2hrs with Jet 2. It’s important to know that if you go to this hotel you are dropped down the road and the hotel isn’t in view. We had to follow Google maps. When we found the hotel we proceeded to check in. We were then advised that the cost for air con was £8 a night. We later found out that this also covers the fridge and safe. The safe is in the reception area and is opened with a key given to you and a key that reception hold. We were given no information regarding the breakfast included in the package nor the Wi-Fi info. We were allocated our room and proceeded to our room. On entering the room I knew I couldn’t stay in there. The room smelt of sewage, there were spillage stains on the bed back board and shelf under the tv. We also had a dirty tea tray (photos will be added). We went back to reception and the receptionist came back to the room and checked. We were then given a key to another room on floor 3. On entering this room it was a lot better and smelled clean. We would have changed hotels but it was a Turkish holiday and the resort was rammed with people. Had I have known this I wouldn’t have gone. Every night was like a concert had just emptied. The hotel was busy due to this. The pool area holds the Sun most of the day but one side has the sun then this moves to the other side around 13.30pm. We couldn’t see a shower area near the pool. The lift is very slow so be prepared to wait. Due to us having a late pick up we were advised to ask on check out day if we could keep our room for 6hrs at a cost. We asked on the day before and we’re advised “ we’re full”. Looking at *********** rooms we’re still available. We found the staff to be generally rude with the exception of a lovely lady who serves the drinks and a guy who we think is the manager. There is no luggage room and when I asked they just said no. Cases have to be left in the reception area. They do have cameras but that didn’t fill me with confidence so we had to hang around the hotel most of the day till we were picked up. However the shower was good and the pool area was clean. This is a very basic hotel.

This an excellent hotel, located near beach and all the shops. Big pool with kiddies pool, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Spotless hotel with amazing friendly staff. Good breakfast range and really good coffee. Bedrooms are spotless, cleaned everyday and fresh towels, maids are brilliant. Can not fault this hotel, will be back next year without a doubt. Also will arrange transfer pick up from airport private or shuffle. We went private, flight delayed, still waiting outside for us.

We have just returned from a week at this hotel. We booked through jet2. The hotel has good and bad points. On arrival we checked in, the reception staff were not welcoming at all and didn’t give us any information about breakfast or Wi-Fi etc. The first room we were given smelt of smoke so we asked to be moved. The man on reception was not helpful and told us he couldn’t move us, long story short they did end up moving us only after we said we couldn’t stay at the hotel if they didn’t. The rooms are ok, they were clean ( apart from the first one), the shower is a walk in one and big, beds are ok. We had to pay £58 for air on for the week. Rip off but so needed. The pool area is ok, it’s small and doesn’t have a shower area. They have two types of steps, wall steps and Roman so good access for all mobility levels. They also have a child’s pool. We didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the hotel, it’s not that welcoming to be honest and the man in reception was particularly rude and unhelpful. There’s a lovely lady on the bar, she was so nice and helpful and deserves a medal as she works hard. When the manager was around the staff were better, the manger was nice and chatty. We never ate breakfast once because it didn’t look that appealing to us. But we did order bar food around the pool which was nice and well cooked. During our stay it was a Turkish holiday- we didn’t know this when we booked. The hotel was very very busy and on times hard to find a spot around the pool. When the holiday was over the pool area was quieter and there were plenty of beds available. I’m sorry to say but I wouldn’t stay here again, not because the hotel is basic as we could cope with that, but because most if the staff were rude and unhelpful.

Great place, very clean, clean towels every other day, bins emptied ever day and room tidied bed changed every other day too can not fault this place, never had to fight or get up early for a sun bed, even supplied toilet rolls too would definitely recommend this place and will be going back next September

We first visited Altinkum 39 years ago we have been back plenty of times but the hotel we stayed at is now private apartments. What a gem of a hotel did we find this year. The Altinersan, i would recommend this hotel to anybody its clean friendly and the staff are fantastic especially the lady on the bar near the pool. Rooms cleaned daily free safe near reception, we had a key they have a key we used them with no problems. The breakfast is Turkish thats fine boiled eggs toast fruit scrambled eggs even chips most days so that was not a problem i think you could buy a full English. We will stay there again hopefully very soon. Ignore the bad reviews try it for your self.

Hotel very clean. Basic but functional. Staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. On a busy road so there was noise all the time. Breakfast was Turkish and very good. Bar and snack bar were good.

dropped off by jet 2 had a 150 yard walk to the hotel no help from jet2 staff or hotel staff some very old people got no help from anybody i will not stay there again my view was the rooftops of althinkum

Nice hotel but be warned £71 for air con and £21 for the fridge and when you book nobody tells you it was free last year !! I know things have gone up but thats taking the mick. Extra 92 on your holiday you didnt expect. Bring a fan or buy one here cheap enough

Where to start with this amazing hotel? To say they went above and beyond is an understatement! From the management to the maids, they were fantastic! We had a 'slight accident' while my group was away, resulting in a hospital stay for one of us. It was stressful! BUT they really stepped up and came through for us in so many ways, we couldn't thank them enough!! From sorting out food to take to the hospital to lifting wheelchairs into taxi's, and even paying a visit themselves to our injured friend after their surgery! If you want that personal touch from a hotel in Turkey, this is the one!! Can't wait to go back and see everyone. Hopefully no 'mishaps' next time 😂
