在大吉嶺能算是數一數二質量較好的酒店了，雖然周邊很破舊，但這裏算是個小港灣，特別適合兩個人住（因為含雙早）。從大吉嶺火車站，拖着箱子走到酒店大約15分鐘，年輕人是沒問題的，從酒店走到山頂廣場也就5分鐘，很是方便，旁邊有地攤性質的夜市，還有kfc，樓下竟然還有一家miniso，我也是醉了，丟中國人的臉的假日本品牌四處泛濫。視頻是在房間裏用延時拍攝的。另外，這裏提供免費寄存行李，你可以去花四五天徒步，把行李留在這裏，回來再取。

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Darjeeling. The staff members at the White Yak Hotel went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm smiles and genuine interest in making guests feel welcome created a truly inviting atmosphere. the hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered a range of amenities that enhanced my stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The hotel's location was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation options.

Stayed here for 2 nights. And I'll give the real picture. Good things first... 1) Room was perfect as per the amount I paid. Eventually, they upgraded me even before I asked for it. Room had all amenities one might need during a stay 2) Behaviour of the entire team is awesome. They served me with a smile... Every single time. And they never said NO for any of my requests. Now, few serious stuffs to look into.... 1) Location, which is 1 Km from Darjeeling Mal, While Keventers & Mahakal Chowk are 500 mts. And you don't get any view from the room 2) They have communication issues, perhaps language barrier. On Day-2 I requested to replenish the complimentary drinking water. But IRD team member arrived with packaged drinking water. But again, their behaviour is damn good. He took that back & catered to my actual request 3) This was troublesome. I was supposed to check out at 0730 Hrs. And my room was with breakfast. I informed the Front Desk about the scenario in the previous evening. The ever friendly lady at the desk confirmed me that although Breakfast won't be available at that time, but she'll send sandwiches for me which I was Ok with. But when I called the desk at 6AM in the morning, the guy was clueless. He paid a courtesy visit to the room & said the message of providing sandwiches wasn't passed to him.... Again communication laps Overall the hotel is good & recommended. But don't book your room with breakfast if you have early morning departure.

It’s a 4 star hotel with 5 star ambiance and service. I stayed in premium Kanchenjunga view room with balcony. The view is amazing. I have attached the photo of the view from the room. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room is quite spacious. Cleanliness is at its best. Service is very fast. Restaurant is fantastic with variety of dishes.If you’re a vegetarian and even though it’s little beyond your budget I strongly recommend this hotel because staying here will make your trip complete and memorable. No non veg and no alcohol. If you have your own drinks ,you will get ice cubes.Book directly from the hotel. You will get the room for reasonable price. Had the opportunity to stay in Sterling Hotel, Darjeeling for 3 nights and 4 days with my brother’s and mine family. All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The best part was that we were allotted Room No. 1034 which has wonderful view of Kanchenjunga. Thanks to the good weather, we could see Kanchenjunga on all 3 days. Having tea in the balcony overlooking Kanchenjunga was an unforgettable experience. Staff and services were also very good. I usually avoid shopping from the shops located in the Hotel complex it in this hotel, pur experience of shopping from A2 (Amit’s Apparel) was also very good. Not only their collection is good but also very good pricing. Either at par with the Darjeeling market or may be bit better

We have booked two suits for two couples. On arrival, the other couple rejected the suit room because it was damp and not ventilated. Instead, they opted for a normal room with balcony facing the busy road. The other suit room was on the terrace. Ok, I liked it. It was lunch time. The restaurant was super crowded, the food was good. So after lunch when it was time to use bathroom, we found there was no water coming to the room. The staffs tried but in vain. So we have to shift to another room. In this way we have to abandon both the suits, that to a lower category in a higher price. Irony is that the next day we got to know there were other suit room in the hotel just beside our room. And the suit room on terrace was also occupied.
