我們在遊覽獅子岩期間，在這家迷人的度假酒店住了兩晚。飯店坐落在廣闊的森林之中。 我們的房間是一棟兩層樓的別墅式建築，位於一樓。從凌晨四點開始，我們就能聽到樓上有人走動的腳步聲，有點吵，而且下水道散發出一股明顯的異味。不過，食物很美味（雖然早餐沒什麼特別的），我們很喜歡泳池邊餐廳裡清爽的微風。由於附近沒有其他餐廳，我們選擇了在飯店用餐。第一晚我們點了單點菜單，第二晚則享用了自助餐，那裡有各種各樣的咖哩和甜點。第二天因為網路故障，我們的Wi-Fi不太好用，但隔天早上就恢復了。 酒店員工都非常友善熱情。由於飯店位置偏遠，我們請飯店幫忙安排往返獅子岩和皮杜蘭加拉的嘟嘟車。兩次行程的費用都是4800盧布。兩天都是同一個司機，他是個很友善的年輕人，但當地導遊很驚訝價格比在當地隨便攔輛嘟嘟車貴得多，所以如果您使用這項服務，請務必謹慎。

地點在郊區的小路上，晚上到的，拐來拐去半天才找到。服務人員都很親切，酒店內也很大，房間設施一般般，主要是以户外為主，清早我們出去找動物，但是沒多少，主要是森林和鳥。尼甘布和希吉利耶應該都是較小的城市，排名靠前的酒店設施還比較原始，主打户外親近自然。

我在丹布拉附近訂了房間，在錫吉里耶多休息一天，他們讓我提前2小時入住。得很好，酒店很寬敞，所以散步很不錯，但是樹嘗試一下，我想去游泳池，那真是太棒了。還給我打包了早餐。

從小屋到前台和餐廳的路都是土路，所以很難走。我覺得他們需要稍微改善一下。

我們住得很愉快，每個人都玩得很開心。我喜歡你們盡可能地保持自然環境不受干擾。我認為這是一種完美的平衡，營造出一種平靜祥和的氛圍。食物非常美味。飯店的員工很友好，服務也很棒。

From the moment we arrived on 13th of April for a 2 day stay at Amara Forest Hotel, we were absolutely delighted by the setting of the Hotel. Nestled in lush greenery and surrounded by the serene sounds of nature, we immediately felt peace of mind and serenity. The atmosphere is peaceful, the air is fresh, and every corner of the property exudes charm and tranquility. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable – blending rustic elegance with modern comfort. The room was large more than enough space for a family of three. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay perfect. Whether it was the seamless check-in, the personalized touches in the room, or the helpful recommendations, their hospitality stood out. The food was very delicious and flavorsome with fresh, local ingredients and rich, authentic flavors. We especially loved the breakfast spread – a perfect mix of variety, taste, and presentation. We need to thank the Management for organizing the Avurudu events on 14th April which was arranged perfectly by the staff with games, food and activities for both children and adults. We had an entertaining and enjoyable time taking part in the events. Amara Forest Hotel is not just a place to stay – it’s a place to remember. We left with full hearts, relaxed minds, and a strong desire to return. Highly, highly recommend! Location was beautiful and the grounds and pool were very well kept . The rooms were cleaned daily but the bin never emptied even though it was over flowing . We asked for more water but were only allowed 500 ml each for a day . In this climate and the fact you can’t drink tap water it was not enough . The staff were not trained to a standard I would expect from a 4 star hotel . They showed no signs of being helpful and would walk in front of you expecting you to move . They didn’t make you feel valued . The food had very poor choice again not anywhere near any of the other hotels we stayed in . I would give this hotel a 2/2.5 rating at most which is a shame as the setting of the hotel and the rooms were lovely

I've never felt so comfortable in a hotel. The service is outstanding. All the staff are extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. There was a wide selection every day, including many vegetarian/ vegan options. The hotel is located in the middle of the forest, which makes you feel very connected to nature. The rooms are large and comfortable. Our every request was immediately accommodated, and everyone made every effort to make our stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely come back!

Superb hotel with extensive grounds hidden away along a bumpy country lane. All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do more to help even when things went wrong (our room door wouldn’t lock after we’d checked in at 22.00 and 5 members of staff resolved the problem & moved us to another room) The a/c rooms were comfortable- free Wi-Fi and plenty of hot water for the showers. The food at the buffet breakfast and dinner was both varied as well as excellent (there was a chef cooking tasty omelettes at breakfast and Mongolian bbq’d and stir-fried evening meals) The bar was well stocked - as it was so warm I’d recommend the very quaffable Lion beer. I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel as it is in a very quiet location close to Sigiriya and Dambulla with a wonderful swimming pool to cool off after a day exploring the local area.

Belle chambre avec très bonne literie mais l’hôtel, quoique bien entretenu, est légèrement vieillissant. Localisation reposante. Le personnel est aux petits soins et le manager a l’écoute de ses clients. Belle piscine très agréable. Merci à l’équipe !
