The Manor Coastal Hotel & Inn, Blakeney, Norfolk

Nice friendly base for bird watching in the area. Good food - well presented and a comfortable room. The lack of mobile phone reception is a bonus. The WIFI works fine if you must.

Lovely hotel with lots of lovely little touches of going the extra mile. Fresh juice & fruit in reception for example. We had 2 nights bed & breakfast and also chose to eat in the dog friendly section in the evening. Our table looked straight out of the window onto the marshes, perfect. The food was outstandingly delicious. An amazing feet as I am a very fussy eater. All the staff from the front desk to housekeeping were polite & attentive. The gardens were a stunning place to sit with a cool drink after enjoying the coastal walks. This short break was a rare treat for us & we genuinely cannot fault anything.

We stayed in April 2024 for 2 nights in room 601 samphire...very good...all staff very helpful...hotel diners very good and breakfast too...

We really enjoyed our stay at The Manor Coastal Hotel, and were extremely impressed by the refurbishment - what a transformation! It is definitely one of the most tastefully decorated hotels we have stayed in. The staff were, without exception, very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable - but the mattress was very firm. A refrigerator would have been nice, but you can’t have everything! We really enjoyed our breakfast and dinner, although, like The Pheasant, we weren’t very inspired by the menu. The hotel is in a fabulous location, with beautiful walks in every direction. We hope to return before too long - but will ask for a softer mattress! Thank you for a lovely stay.

I regularly used to stay here before the takeover by the CIG and always enjoyed being here. I’ve stayed several times since but now it appears to be fully renovated it only seems fair to do another review. The rooms I’ve since used have been fully updated and have an air of quality and luxury to them, the complimentary toiletries provided are amazing and are a nice touch, likewise the coffee machine. The breakfast always was good but there is now an even greater choice. I tend to eat in the bar in the evenings and I find the menu fairly good for my taste. A nice touch is that many of the original (and local) staff are still here and just as friendly as they always were. All in all still a great hotel but now with added luxury, my next stay is already booked.

What a find! Lovely stay and we will return. Excellent service and attention to detail throughout made our stay. We had bed, breakfast and dinner. The food was of a very good standard and so well presented. We will definitely visit again.

The staff are amazing - friendly and helpful can’t fault them. The food was delicious although we preferred to eat in the bar and conservatory area as the restaurant was a bit too formal for us. The only constructive feedback I have is regarding the ladies toilets which are extremely dangerous to anyone with any sort of mobility issues. 3 very steep steps up to the toilet with no hand rails and there isn’t a sink in the cubicle so not exactly hygienic either. One other point about this hotel is that the majority of rooms are outside - can be a bit of a challenge if it’s poor weather. However it certainly didn’t put us off. It’s a beautiful location and the recently completed refurbishment makes it a lovely place to stay. We will definitely be visiting again. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable.

Fabulous stay at The Manor, Blakeney. Great location for walks. Courtyard garden is a sun trap. Will definitely come again.

The hotel has recently been renovated and is clean and attractive in all areas. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. There is a great view over the marshes. You can sit and admire the scenery from the front of the hotel or enjoy a drink in the courtyard area. The restaurant food was satisfactory but some dishes were bland. Having said that, when we mentioned this, there was no hesitation in replacing an uninteresting main course with a different and flavoursome one. We will certainly return.
