美國主人旅館(American Host Inn)

The price seemed high for what is offered. The owner checked us in. He complained about all the work he had to do because he was shorthanded. Yes, there was a bed to sleep in. We did have warm water and the air conditioning worked. Just don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

We were doing a circle tour of Lake Michigan and stayed here for one night. We were going to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes the next day so we wanted to stay close. This was the only hotel that I could find with rooms. I felt like the price was very high for this hotel. The girl at the front desk was not very friendly at all. The ice machine is turned off due to COVID. There is no elevator. It is only 2 floors so it wasn’t an issue for us but if you do have an issue carrying luggage up stairs beware. We arrived around 7 or so and started looking for dinner. There is a restaurant right next door but it closes at 7. The only thing close by that was open was McDonalds. Ugh. The next morning we did go to the restaurant next door for breakfast and it was very good. I would definitely look elsewhere if ever in the area again.
