This was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Our hostess Maria kept us updated the whole time via email and phone calls. On arrival the room was spotless and spacious and full of little touches including an iron and ironing board a well as a sewing kit. The full English breakfast was lovely and Maria was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough to help us make the most of our visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Field View and will be returning.

What a lovely place to stay. Lovely room, fantastic breakfast. Wonderful host. Breakfast was fantastic, with the freshest eggs ever. The hens live at the top of the garden! Nothing was too much to ask. There is a fridge in the lounge and a microwave, if needed, oh and a TV,... it was so nice to be able to chill out. If you like cricket, the local club is across the road. It has a bar, or so i'm told. The pub in the village serves fantastic food and everyone is friendly. We will definitely be back. Thanks Maria. Fantastic B&B home from home!Maria can't do enough for you.Its so peaceful.We had the double room,a juliette balcony looking over the garden.The rooms are situated at the back of the house resulting in a peaceful sleep. The bathroom has a large shower,the water pressure and heat are spot on,it's a rainfall shower but it also has a smaller removable shower head. You tell Maria what your breakfast choice is the day before, we had the full English .It's served perfectly I was lucky enough to see the hens that provided our eggs daily!The bacon and sausage are good quality ,With homemade jam for your toast. There is a pub,around 5 minutes walk from the B&B The Black Swan.Where you can have a drink and good food.

Great host Maria, immaculate room with welcoming goodies, lovely garden that daughter found enchanting and impressive breakfast that used much local produce. Been several times before and never disappointed

What a lovely stay we had. Maria was very helpful and contacted the Black Swan to book a table for dinner, as well as suggesting other food venues. The room was excellent and a very good size for 3 of us, with an equally good bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and made at a time convenient to us. She accommodated our dietary requirements as well, making sure no-one was left hungry. The garden was very pretty, as were the surroundings. Wifi worked well and we parked on the drive. We will be back.
