It is in the middle of nowhere, Erskine has very little to offer visitors, there is a small farm with a few animals for small kids, A swimming pool in what they call the centre, Locals very friendly, but they did not like the place being use by refugees for ages. One stated they just dumped their staff and are now looking for more, she would not allow her daughter to work there. Not a nice hotel. We went and stayed in a Renfrew hotel.

This was made a Migrants hotel, they moved them out last year. But as far as I am aware they are back in there. Beware of making a booking, not sure if you can at the moment though. When the current owners arrived they had made promises that the hotel would be refurbished and turned into the gateway to Scotland and their hotels in the Highlands. The only change I see after a couple of years is the sign outside.

I come here a lot with my company iv got to know the staff and managers I know the place is now closing for a full refurbishment I just hope they can either keep the staff or when it reopens can get them back I got to know the breakfast staff really well over the last year the lady that's in the restaurant Lesley and the chef Danny always a really good welcome in the morning from them and can have a chat before the day begins. hopefully I will see all of them again when the hotel opens back up good luck with everything

Hotel from hell. Worst place to stay and just about to be filled with 200 + boat visitors from over the channel. Do not stay here and avoid at all costs. If you want to stay in a poor mans faulty towers the thia ia the place. You'd be better staying in a cardboard box.

Well what can I say? I highly advise you DO NOT order a spa day for two from Groupon for this hotel! You buy it, then when you try to phone the hotel to book, the receptionist continuously puts you through to the spa, where the phone is never answered! Any voicemail you may leave is IGNORED, the reception staff are completely unhelpful when you phone them back to tell them about the problem, then try to put you through to the spa AGAIN, while you’re still talking! I phoned, I complained to a receptionist, I asked to hear back from a manager, and I emailed the establishment, and NOTHING happened. Then when I phoned back one more time I discovered they aren’t even doing SPA treatments just now due to refurbishment?! Why are the hotel selling vouchers?! And why had no one told me this the first million times I tried to get through! So you’re paying money for a Spa day, and all you would get at the very most just now would be a dip in the pool with no treatments. My biggest issue is the staff and managements complete disregard for customer service and professionalism, ignoring several requests for answers. I won’t be back to this hotel, not if you can’t even speak to a coherent person at the reception never mind anywhere else. I won’t buy any further vouchers online either before phoning the hotel up first and finding out if their spa is actually open, not that you should have to, if that’s what they’re advertising! Poor treatment of customers and poor service in every aspect. Sham. Luckily I managed to get a refund from Groupon, which almost never happens, so I’m guessing they’ve had more complaints along the same line.
