We had some difficulty entering the premise initially, as I wasn’t aware I had to submit an online check-in prior to arrival at the property. Fortunately, I met a very resourceful local who’d manage to contact the owner to sort out the matter. After that, everything was smooth-sailing. The room was clean, kitchen well equipped, and the best selling point is the location. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
TterentiusThe hotel is a well priced one just a stone's throw away from the town centre. It is convenient both for those driving - without having to worry about parking and navigating narrow roads, and for those not driving and taking the bus or ferry - the bus and ferry terminal are just 5 to 8 minutes walk away.
The room is small - but I think most other hotel rooms in Torshavn are small as well. There is a lounge area for guests with views to the sea, perfect if you need a bugger space to chill.
The hotel also provides a free drink of choice if you choose to forgo room cleaning, a smart way to incentivise sustainability and cost savings.
Breakfast was also wonderful with a decent spread of hot foods (sausages, ham, eggs), breads, cheeses and cold cuts.
Service was excellent and the crew are friendly and hardworking. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.
