I booked this place because the reviews were mostly good, however, that was not my experience. After a greuling 15 hour flight to Seoul. I was ready to check in. I get there They offered me a bed to rest before the 3 PM check in but when I stepped away for a few minutes to take a shower, which was gross and smelled awful by tjr wsy, I came back and someone was in the bed. 3 PM, they tell me they have a room for me. it was right next to some type of metal box that partially blocked the door. I could barely get my suitcase in the room. I told them I wanted another room. The second room they gave me was even worse. Everyone's luggage was strewn all over the tiny room. No locker to secure your belongings like other hostels have so anyone could go through your stuff and steal something. They had me on the top bunk that was only about seven inches from the ceiling. I hit my head trying to get out. There were squashed bugs on the wall. The room was uncomfortably warm. I told the guy this was unacceptable and I could not stay here. I had to use Google to translate into Korean for him, which I found surprising since he works in the tourism industry and I'm sure most of the clientele is foreigners. They refunded half my stay. He told me I won't find anything cheaper in Seoul. I can see why. I went next door to a place that was way nicer. I don't understand how so msny people gave good reviews. That place was filthy. I am not picky about accomodations so the fact that it was bad enough to make me leave means it was downright awful.
