Stylish, if a bit spartan, with helpful staff. Some of the problems may be due to being a creative retrofit of an old motel right in downtown-- a fair amount of street nois, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, no outlets for electronics at the desk But others are solvable-- better blackout shades, better insulation on the room's door to the exterior, herbal teas and napkins in the coffee area.

A funky vibe to the property. Check out the ＞RED＜ staircase and the “swimming pool”. I will definitely consider staying here again!

Great place for the money. If you are looking for a night out downtown and don’t want to drive or take an Uber this is a great option.

We stayed at the Bluebird hotel many times back when it was the Downtowner. The remake is not as charming, but it is clean & fresh & everything you need in a big enough space. Nice big shower! A little traffic noise, but heck, you’re downtown! We did need the desk attendant to help with the tv, and both of us hit our shins on the low bed frame. Perfect location for a quick meal at Druthers, Main St. shopping, & Country Corner Cafe breakfast!

Really nice property which combines the aesthetic of art school with a 1960s motor lodge.

The checkin and checkout process was extremely easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Only thing that made me feel unsafe was that sometimes some homeless people would hang out by the parking lot, but they have staff at the front desk at all times and they lock the front door after hours which you can get in with your door key.

My daughter and I were traveling home from Boston to Detroit and stopped here for the night. It was perfect, interesting, well designed, do not miss the opportunity to stay here while in Saratoga Springs.
