瓦爾迪索諾飯店 - 限成人(Hotel Val Di Sogno - Adults Only)

Such a wonderful hotel, with excellent staff in a beautiful and superb setting. We spent two weeks here in July/August 2023, having been before in 2018. We were worried it would not live up to our memory but actually it was even better. The hotel has recently been refurbished to an even higher level before and the food for breakfast and dinner continues to be excellent.

Dieses Hotel wird seinen eigenen Ansprüchen nur beim Preis gerecht! Der Empfang war kühl und belehrend, eine Hilfe wurde nicht angeboten und selbst das Zimmer mussten wir selber suchen. Das Frühstücksbuffet, welches für 20€/Person (bei früher Anreise) angeboten wurde, ist total überteuert und hat eine sehr überschaubare Auswahl, was wir so im Malcesine noch nicht erlebt haben! Das Zimmer war bei Anreise nicht gut gereinigt und wurde erst nach einigen Tagen sauberer. Das änderte allerdings nichts an den schimmeligen Fugen im Bad und dem moosigen Balkon. Der Service beim Frühstück beschränke sich auf die Anwesenheit einiger Personen, wobei ein älterer Herr nur am Pult saß oder stand und kontrollierte. Bei unseren 8 Frühstücken wurde nur einmal während des Essens gebrauchtes Geschirr abgeräumt! Die hochgelobte Freundlichkeit der Besitzerfamilie durften wir nicht erfahren, da keiner von ihnen vor Ort war, oder sich nicht vorgestellt haben, schade, vielleich hätten wir dann einen schönen Aufenthalt genießen dürfen. Das Hotel hat ein super Marketing und einen sehr guten Internetauftritt, was allerdings die Wirklichkeit vor Ort nicht wieder spiegelt So bleibt ein sehr fader Nachgeschmack in einen, für diese Region und für diese Kategorie schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältniss!

My wife and I travel a lot but we realised earlier this year that we hadn’t had a holiday of pure relaxation since before the pandemic, so we decided it was time to plan one. We wanted good weather and the only time in our schedule that would work would be late August. That is the busiest time for tourism everywhere and we really didn’t want to be annoyed by children or noisy adult groups. So we started looking for adults-only hotels that might suit us and eventually found the Hotel Val di Sogno, which seemed ideal. Not only is it adults-only, but they don’t allow groups of more than six people, they don’t have wedding parties and don’t allow anyone who isn’t a guest to use their facilities, including the restaurant. I exchanged a few e-mails with Silvia who was very helpful in clarifying some details and so we went ahead and booked for a week. In summary, this hotel proved to be just perfect for the relaxing beak we wanted. It is located on a beautiful bay on Lake Garda, with views across to the mountains on the other side. It’s tranquil but not dead - you can sit and watch boats, windsurfers and stand-up paddle boarders coming and going and people swimming in the calm waters. The hotel and its grounds are right along the back of the beach, the restaurant looks straight out and all the rooms have this view too, so wherever you are you can enjoy the lovely setting. The hotel grounds are on two levels - a pool area, surrounding a large infinity-style pool with a swim-up bar, and a lower area along the back of the beach, with trees etc. In both areas there were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for shade. Our room had a very large balcony with chairs and a small table and of course the wonderful lake view. The room itself was spacious and attractively furnished, with a bathroom area with separate toilet and clothes storage hanging spaces. Even the bathroom enjoyed the views through a large window between it and the bedroom (which at the press of a button could magically become “frosted” for privacy). Unfortunately, perhaps because of the very warm weather, the air conditioning didn’t seem to be powerful enough to keep us comfortably cool at night. Another time we’ll probably leave the window open instead as we do at home. We decided to have dinner at the hotel on our first night and found it excellent. The menu is fairly limited but everything we tried was of a very high standard so we actually came back for every lunch and dinner that we could (they close it on Wednesday evenings). As there are plenty of tables there is never any shortage, so you don’t have to make reservations - you just show up, find a nice table and enjoy your meal. The breakfast buffet is truly impressive: as well some hot items, such as freshly prepared omelettes, there was a huge range of delicious breads, pastries and cereals (including several different types of muesli), meats, cheeses and fruit. Coffee is self-service from a machine but really excel

Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang, das Zimmer geräumig, sehr sauber, alles funktionierte, so, wie erwartet. Vom Balkon einen schönen Blick auf den See, also perfekt. Das Frühstück reichhaltig, doch auf die deutschen Gäste fokussiert, wir vermisste heimische Käse-/Wurstsorte, lokale Backwaren etc. Abends haben wir im Hotelrestaurant gut gegessen. Die Speisen hier sehr frisch, gut gekocht und von guter Qualität. Die Portionen dürften kleiner aber nicht sein. Sehr gut war auch die Weinkarte, die neben lokalen wie internationalen Weinen auch italienische Spezialitäten zu adäquaten Preisen enthält. Das Personal ausnahmslos sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns hat es gut gefallen, nur das Frühstück war uns zu deutsch.

Das Hotel bietet eine top Lage direkt am See mit Seezugang und eigenem Pool inkl. Poolbar, super freundliches und kompetentes Team, sehr schöne Zimmer mit großzügigen Badezimmern und Balkon… hauseigenes Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen, bieten eine kleine aber feine Karte mit vielen regionalen Speisen - top Weinkarte! Einfach nur zum Genießen!!!

This hotel gets better each time - this is our 5th visit and we could not fault it! We travelled with another couple and we both had really lovely rooms - the location on Lake Garda could not be better, it is set on a small peninsula, away from the main road and every single room faces the lake. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding - superb choices, excellent service and a lovely a**osphere to enjoy a leisurely start to the day. We don't normally eat in hotel restaurants in the evening, but on our first night there was an incredible storm so we didn't really have much choice. We were so glad that we had to eat there as the food was superb and the service excellent - on our next visit, we will definitely choose to eat here. We love the gardens, pool and lake swimming. The location is nice and quiet and it is also a beautiful lakeside walk to Malcesine. One of our favourite hotels on Lake Garda - we will be back. Location incantevole per una ideale vacanza di coppia, nella natura, nel relax e con personale educato e cordiale, molto attento alle esigenze del cliente. Molto apprezzato anche il bistrot per lunch e dinner. Da consigliare.

We picked the hotel as it was adults only and we really needed a break after tough years at work! The hotel really lives up to and exceeds those expectations. It's about a 20 minute walk out of central Malcesine along the promenade but you could be a 1000 miles away from the hustle and bustle of tourism when you go through the door. You pick your own room at booking; I don't think there are any bad rooms to be honest! Staff are wonderful and would do anything to help. Food top notch but be aware the restaurant closes for a break on Wednesday night. Drinks in the garden, watching the boats in the bay, total relaxation. Those are my memories!

Location da film, cucina ottima, personale gentile e disponibile in tutto e per tutto. Se si desidera passare un po' di tempo in relax lontani dalla routine quotidiana, questo è sicuramente il posto giusto. Punto forte dell' hotel è sicuramente la Spa ad uso esclusivo la quale si affaccia direttamente sul lago. Purtroppo non ci è stato possibile uscire a fare escursioni per via del maltempo ma, dato la straordinaria organizzazione, sono sicuro che saremmo stati sicuramente indirizzati nel migliore dei modi. Un ringraziamento infine a Patrizia e a tutto lo staff per averci ospitati e fatto apprezzare appieno il soggiorno.
