羅萊夏朵 - 波若城堡飯店(Il Borro Relais & Chateaux)

Location unica nel suo genere. la suite che ci hanno assegnato nel borgo era perfetta, arredata con grande stile e buon gusto, letto comodissimo, bagno degno di una SPA. Abbiamo cenato all'Osteria del Borro, che già conoscevamo e che si è confermata all'altezza della sua ottima fama. Estremamente piacevole anche il Borro Bistrot dove abbiamo consumato il pranzo. Organizzazione della passeggiata a cavallo eccellente, nonostante il clima non proprio favorevole.

Un luogo magico, di rara bellezza. Abbiamo alloggiato nel borgo medievale, con la chiesa, la piazzetta, il presepe, le decorazioni natalizie che regalavano un’a**osfera stupenda anche per i bambini. Cibo ottimo, di grande qualità. Colazione superba e servizio impeccabile. Torneremo sicuramente.

We are at Il Borro right now. The construction is super flimsy. We can easily hear footsteps, peeing, and flushing from the room above us. The footsteps sound like thumping. Very loud and highly unsatisfactory, all because this place is cheaply constructed and poorly insulated.

Péssimo atendimento. A recepção é extremamente antipatica e trata você mal o tempo todo. O hotel é imenso e tudo precisa de carrinho próprio do hotel. Você não tem como ir a pé ou com seu proprio carro. Até uma simples ida na piscina ou tomar café da manhã. Mas aí tudo demora demais, chegando a esperar 40 minutos para um transporte. Não gostamos da experiência. Para tudo você tem que reservar (restaurante, vinícola) mas ele não te ajudam antes a reservar e chegando no checkin já está tudo cheio.

Where to start…this place is beautiful and amazing. If you want to be in a quiet, secluded medieval village in Tuscany, this is the place. It is very old. But the place is so updated and kept in the period. Upon checkin, we were given a map of the resort. It looked overwhelming at first, but a quick tour of it fixed that. The service you will receive is the best. Be prepared for lots of steep hills and steps. If this is a problem, a golf cart or car will pick you up and take you where you need to be. Our room, which was Marta Terrazzo, room 108, was OUTSTANDING! It shares an entry way with one other unit. First room you enter is the living room with a log burning fireplace, chairs, table and a wonderful coffee machine. A nice window there too. Next is the bedroom with a king bed with the softest pillows. In this room there is a tv, a window and a door to your own patio! Private! Heading toward the bathroom you will have a walk in dressing closet and safe. Lots of places for clothes. Then the bathroom which was really pretty. It was the largest shower ever and it provided a great rainfall. There is a window there too. All of the windows and the patio door have not shutters but inside are swinging panels to block out the light. I’ve never seen anything like it. The property is lovely; there are horses with their babes in a few pastures. Breakfast is ordered from a set menu or the buffet. So many cheeses, meats, breads, and many other things to eat. Coffee is always really yummy. Dinner was great as well. Ate outside one night. Two nights inside. Pretty pools, not heated though. The wine cellar is unbelievable. Their own wines are made there and the tour was outstanding. Some Bottles start at $30 euros and we’re great. We drank so much wine. 🍷. Our guide was Sophia. She was awesome and so knowledgeable. The cooking class was fun, but the price was way too high for what we did and got. You make your meal with a group if you chose that route, and then later in he evening you eat what you made in the main dining room. Our dinner was potato gnocchi with a cheese sauce, meatballs in a prepared red sauce, and biscotti. It was really tasty! One night we left the property and had a dinner down the road to the left. That was great as well, a family owned place. Osteria dell’Oca Satolla, it is the only place near the resort. If you want to get around you need a car. We visited Arezzo, which was a quite nice little city maybe 45 minutes away, and Loro Ciuffenna is 15 minutes away and a cool little local town. Very hilly everywhere we went. We are glad that we stayed here. I have to say at first we thought, oh no what are going to do here? It was absolutely wonderful.

Semplicemente stupendo, un piccolo borgo completamente ristrutturato e reso un hotel sparso, si respira il sapore di una volta tutto curato nei piccoli dettagli ma con i comfort attuali, piccole vie, piccole strade, il tutto nel verde e nella piu grande tranquillità. Colazione con prodotti eccellenti da 110 e lode. Personale cortese e disponibile. Le golf car provvedono a portarvi in giro oppure un breve passeggiata per raggiungere ogni luogo bellissimo.

Non è facile descrivere il Borro....bisogna viverlo. Abbiamo soggiornato per un weekend in una delle camere del Borgo. Esperienza fantastica, tutto perfetto. Abbiamo portato con noi il nostro cane che è stato accolto con mille attenzioni. La famiglia Ferragamo ha creato un ambiente elegante e allo stesso tempo accogliente.....un progetto di grande classe. Ho fatto una passeggiata a cavallo tra boschi e vigneti accompagnata da una ragazza fantastica e appassionata. Davvero un luogo incantato. Complimenti a tutti.
