Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Downtown

The stay was pretty average. The staff was a little curt and we got charged a random $15 and were never notified a reason. We didn’t purchase anything nor did we take anything from the room

Upon checking in, I was told by the fromt desk person that parking was going to run me an additional $80!!! For my 4 night stay. Thats outrageous and I refused and asked to cancel, I was told if I cancelled I would be charged the entire 4 nights. Finally, after asking to see the parking fees in writing was I told , she would void it. The room was nice, but the tv was broken. Aslo, i selected the room due to it having a full size fridge. That was bait and switch as it was a mini fridge. I would never stay here again, ever!

This was a beautiful hotel. The lobby was nice and the pool table was a plus. Beautiful location clos3 2 the mall and Delta center. We went through atleast 10-15 keycard in our 25 hour stay. They keys would just stop working so we would have to go back down to the 1st floor to have them remade. I asked if we were doing something wrong to deactivate them and rhey said "No, this happens alot, it maight be that your card reader needs new batteries" But they never came up and fixed it. The master bedroom door was also broken. The hinger were partly pulled out of the wLl so the door couldnt be shut. A guy came up and tried to fix it but the screw holes where stripped so it just keep coming out. I have pictures of the guy trying to fix the door.

Aside from the dront desk having a partybon the hotel lobby all night long, rude service, and unfriendly staff. The stay was tolerable. Ice machine on our level was broken no biggie. Our tv wouldnt work no biggie

The hotel staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. The hotel was perfect for attending a concert at the Vivint Center, which was right across the street. It was also helpful that it is a pet-friendly hotel. That’s what swayed us most about staying there. The room was clean and very comfortable. If in the area, we will definitely stay there again.

We didn’t get the room we paid for and staff’s first response was totally unacceptable, the spa wasn’t working, Sunday afternoon the hot water boiler broke down and no shower until Monday, no pen or writing paper in room. The room was clean, the staff was courtesy and the exercise room was pleasant.

We had a fantastic stay! Staff was friendly and attentive when we needed them. The only downside was that there was no longer a restaurant/bar in the hotel as advertised but all of the signage was still up. There was a yummy bar and grill next door but part of the reason we chose this location was to have a beverage after the long drive without going out. They need to update their advertising.

nous avions loué une suite parce que nous voyagions avec notre fils. le deuxième lit n'était pas fait, nous avons trouvé un drap, un oreiller mais pas de taie d'oreiller ni couverture.le lendemain, j'ai dû reclamé que la chambre soit nettoyé vers 16h00 sinon je pense que personne ne serait venu. ç la suite de quoi, la personne qui avait nettoyé la chambre avait laissé un seau et ses articles de ménage dans la salle de bain. nous avons alerté les personnes à l'acceuil qu'un gros cafard se promenait dans le hall, mais pas de réaction (enfin pas de réaction immédiate). notre chambre donnant au dessus de la piscine, il y avait beaucoup de bruit de machines d'exctraction d'air (probablement la chaufferie de la piscine) le ménage était mal fait, les produits (café...)rarement renouvellé. il n'y avait que deux fourchettes et non 3 ou 4 ... le petit déjeuner était moyen, le personnel ne comprenait pas l'anglais, tout laisser à désirer ... et une piscine chauffée et sans baigneur alors qu'il neige ...

My room was right over the bar on the north east side of the building. You could hear the music until 2:00 am When mentioned to the front desk staff the next morning they claimed there was no bar/ pub in the building. Ask for a room on the south side of the hotel
