We arrived late at night needing two rooms for four people as our plane was so late landing it was not safe to drive the three hours to our destination. Mihail was on the desk and was the most helpful and attentive and dealing with the additional needs of the guests. We had not prebooked we just found it on google maps and chanced it as it was so late. I am glad we did, i would certainly stay again

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Grazie Grazie Grazie cara Paola, sei preziosa per l'hotel e per le persone che soggiornano da voi.. un infinito grazie da tutti noi. Federica

Beautiful Hotel - outside and inside! Location not so bad to get to City Centre, and Vatican City (Approximately 5-6 K’s) Staff very friendly (Lounge, restaurant, check in) Cleaning staff.. see below in pictures… We had room 629 for 3 nights and got moved to 601 the last night… see below in pictures… ISSUES 1) 4 nights- room “cleaned(ished)/serviced” once! The one day it was “cleaned”, bed was only made, Same used towels left in bathroom for 3 nights- no clean towels?!?! 2) WIFI - hmmmmm…. Not on 6th floor! Lobby & poolside okay. 3) Pool absolutely beautiful - but went to use pool - “CLOSED” no Lifeguard on duty (to watch adults) 9+ people around pool you can’t use?!?! 4) STAFFING issues, restaurants, bar (lounge) staff absolutely amazing - but could have used at least 1 more person to assist with dinner/supper service. A hotel that size and number of guests and charters buses, they definitely needed help. Dinner service runs from 7PM to 10PM. Got to busy for the “CHEF” and @ 9:30PM - 9-45PM good luck… was not taking any other order cause to busy for the chef? ( where I’m from, if you’re open till 10:00PM, you’re open till 10PM, and the chef and staff to complete all order no matter what, that’s what you’re paid for) Waitress JONA did her best and did an absolutely Amazing! Breakfast… same thing, if you’re not down before 9:45AM… Good Luck, cause cleanup starts at 9:50AM - 9:59AM. Good luck getting anything after 9:45AM! NOW, I/we can live without not having the wifi not working and pool close… it is what it is, and even understanding the serving issues due to lack of staff. BUT the room not being cleaned for 3rd day and the ANT’s having a feast on whatever was dropped on the floor… MERCY! (I have some videos of them working as a team and enjoying their feast and not sure where they were heading to on the 6th floor, maybe the next room?) Well, we kinda got some sorta compensation, “we can move you if ya want.” (Moved to room 601 for a night, at least we had clean towels, and the bed was made up!) Checking out - “YOU OWE XXXX.XX euros”, not “How was your stay, or thanks, come again” LOL! Thats fine with me/us, cause that’s what TRIP ADVISORY is for! Would I/we stay here again or recommend this hotel, probably NOT! Have a great day, and really hope your experience at this hotel was much better than ours, cause 90+% of the staff working were great and trying to be helpful!
訪訪客 Where I stay when traveling is as important to me as where I am going. That is the difference between being a tourist and a traveler. When I travel, I search out family run bed & breakfasts and or small boutique hotels. Why? The people. People make the difference. On this trip to Rome, I was traveling with my father. I was looking for a small boutique hotel in a quiet location but a location from which all of Rome is easily accessible by walking. I couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect property than Hotel Monte Cenci. Located on the Via Beatrice Cenci, a quiet location just one block from the Tiber River, and surrounded by gorgeous buildings with window boxes spilling over with geraniums, the Hotel Monte Cenci is a livable work of art. Designed in a historic palazzo this 30-room hotel feels more like a stay in a beautiful private home. Entering from Via Beatrice notice the two story marble lobby flanked by book cases which run the length of the lobby behind the reception desk. You will be greeted as though you are a long friend coming home for a visit. At the south end of the lobby is a magnificent 2 story window that allows light from the lobby to flood into the hotel bar. Just a few steps down from the lobby is a reception room and access to either the elevator to your room or use the stairs. We utilized the stairs. The bedrooms are generous in size with plush bedding, gorgeous ensuite bathrooms (some bathrooms have marble sink tops from historic hotel in Rome), casement triple glazed windows with views onto the surrounding buildings and streets in this quiet enclave. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace. In the afternoon the terrace with its lush plantings and awnings is a great place to escape for a quick nap or down time reading a book-also great in the evenings for a glass of wine or an Aperol Spritz. The location is perfect. Every attraction is walkable and the best way, and only way in my opinion, to see Rome is to walk. Rome is an open-air museum full of art and architecture and history. Stroll down streets, take the alley way, follow the delicious scents, and discover a small neighborhood osteria or bar. Shop the shops away from the large tourist attractions. Discover a fountain in a piazza and take the time to see Rome, truly see Rome. The beauty of staying in a small boutique hotel is that the people at the hotel will also share with you their favorite places to eat, shop, sip and walk and share historical tidbits. I cannot find the words to express how wonderful the people at the Hotel Monte Cenci are. They are kind, informative, helpful, funny, welcoming and feel like family. Whether first thing in the morning or late in the evening I looked forward to every interaction with all members of the staff. They make you feel as though you are a family member visiting. 訪訪客Wir haben letztes Jahr im Oktober unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gebucht. 5 Nächte Superior Doppelzimmer. Bei Ankunft im Mai diesen Jahres erhielten wir den Zimmerschlüssel und bekamen ein winziges Doppelzimmer mit alter Ausstattung. Bei Nachfrage ob dies das Superior DZ wäre sagte man mir, nein, es ist ein Standart Zimmer. Das Hotel wäre leider ausgebucht und könnte uns kein Zimmer der gebuchten Kategorie anbieten. Mir wurde als Entschädigung ein Discount von 50 Euro angeboten sowie ein anderes Zimmer ab dem nächsten Tag. Außerdem wurde angeboten das Gepäck in das neue Zimmer zu verbringen. (Gepäck wurde auf meine Nachfrage erst gesucht, aber lassen wir das) Das neue Zimmer war dann sogar ein geräumiges 3 Bett Zimmer. Die vorabendliche Reservierung für den nächsten Tag im Hotelrestaurant hat auch nicht funktioniert. Als wir zu Tisch wollten waren dann alle Tische belegt….. Beim auschecken wurde mir eine Rechnung über 5 Nächte Superior DZ vorgelegt. Nach Reklamation wurde der Discount von 50 € eingeräumt, aber Achtung, finde den Fehler! Standard DZ 170€, Superior DZ 220€, wir hatten eine Nacht Standard Zimmer und von dem berechneten Superior DZ wollte man 50 € abziehen. Ich soll für etwas bezahlen was ich nicht erhalten habe, bekomme dafür was ich nicht wollte zum regulären Preis. Dafür ist mein Ärger ja umsonst! Ich bekam noch den netten Hinweis das ich ja dann das größere 3 Bett Zimmer erhalten hätte (was ich nie gefordert habe) Ich bin ein gutmütiger Mensch und habe Verständnis wenn mal ein Fehler passiert, aber soviel Unvermögen ist mir in noch keinem Hotel unter gekommen und ich bin viel auf Reisen! Kein Hinweis auf ein Zimmer der niedrigeren Kategorie beim einchecken! Keine eigenständige Korrektur entsprechend der erhaltenen Räume beim auschecken!
訪訪客On first glance of this Hotel, the reception / the chill out area really speaks for itself. But the hotel is in itself, is very small, and very, very basic. As for.the room we had (obviously cannot speak for all) in my opinion, the hotel should be liable for faulse advertising. The best rooms are shown, but what you actually get is something completely different. The Receptionist of any business is the front of house, so your personality, your warm-welcome (Hotel Ripa) really matters ie the 2 male Receptionist upon our arrival. However, one out of the two, was a lil better than the other. I was not happy with our room. The one out of the two was happy to find us something else, the other, aggressively said ”No” three times. Challenged me. He went on to say, we're fully booked, come back tomorrow. RESTAURANT: From Breakfast to evening meal. Wonderful service, good selection of food. Michele from the evening restaurant, he could not do enough for us. My 14 year old granddaughter is quite fussy and so he advised her what was best for her to eat, brought out accomdiments for her. He gave a service with a smile. Just the way it should be. Would I recommend to a friend. No way. I value mine and my friends relationship.

訪訪客用戶Abbiamo alloggiato in questo albergo per due notti. Appena arrivati ci hanno sistemato in una casetta esterna alla struttura principale con circa 5/6 stanze. Abbiamo lasciato le valige velocemente per andare a cena, e solo al nostro ritorno abbiamo iniziato a notare delle cose che via via sono andate a peggiorare. Abbiamo richiesto un ferro da stiro, e ci è stato detto che non sapevano dove fosse e che avrebbero chiesto l'indomani alla signora delle pulizie. In vari hotel a 4 stelle il ferro da stiro è addirittura presente in camera! Rientrati in stanza, abbiamo iniziato a notare dettagli relativi alla pulizia e all'aspetto della stanza. Nella doccia erano presenti capelli, la tavoletta del gabinetto era totalmente ingiallita (costo su Amazon € 15 spedizione inclusa!), l'unica sedia presente in stanza aveva un cuscino bianco con delle macchie nere e la pellicola protettiva totalmente strappata. A parte delle abat jour presenti ai due lati del letto, non esisteva un punto luce sul soffitto. Il telecomando della TV era rattoppato con dello shock nero, e appena preso in mano lo shock si è tutto srotolato. Ma il bello è arrivato quando, richiedendo un quarto cuscino che ci è stato prontamente portato, ho notato che esternamente aveva un mega alone giallo a chiazze. Inorridita ho avuto la malsana e fortunatamente giusta idea di controllare anche gli altri tre cuscini... Due di questi erano pieni di macchie gialle all'interno, anche sui bordi, che fuoriuscivano dal lenzuolo!! Chiamato il ragazzo alla reception l'ho caldamente invitato di portarmi cuscini immacolati, data soprattutto la presenza di mio figlio di 3 anni, altrimenti davvero avremmo dormito senza! Se non avessimo anticipato il pagamento (struttura consigliata come seconda opzione per un matrimonio) ce ne saremmo andati all'istante. Ci servirà da lezione: chi chiede il pagamento anticipato non è un albergatore serio!!! Dopo vari minuti sono stati portati i cuscini, puliti, ma senza nemmeno una scusa e nemmeno una parola! Ulteriore tasto dolente: la colazione ... Una colazione del genere viene offerta forse in un albergo a due stelle! Arredamento della sala imbarazzante, colazione misera, senza opzioni sempre presenti in un 4 stelle come le uova o della frutta fresca, bevande calde da una macchinetta di pessima qualita', due scelte di succo annacquatissimi... Il top è la vaschetta degli affettati... Di plastica, con delle crepe al livello della maniglietta per sollevarla, storta.... Il mio bimbo che adora il prosciutto cotto ne ha mangiato una fetta, mi ha guardato e mi ha detto che non era buono... E aveva ragione! 4 stelle dove? Anche 3 stelle sarebbero regalate! L'unica cosa positiva che ho visto: la cameriera della sala colazione, da sola, che correva da una parte all'altra e lavorava come una matta e senza che le chiedessimo nulla ci ha portato la sedia in più per il bambino mettendoci in un punto con più spazio, dato appunto le dimensioni ridotte della stanza. Prima e ultima volta!
