Enjoyed a 4-night mini-break at QT Queenstown. Hotel is great and I’d highly recommend – perfect location (short stroll into town along lakefront); spacious rooms; and most importantly staff welcoming and professional (shout out especially to Louisa & Anthony on front desk and Darren & Erike(?) in restaurant/breakfast room – they’re great ambassadors for QT and made our stay extra special.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great they are doing so much for sustainability. The room was very comfortable and a good size Powerful shower but took a bit of time to get the temperature right. Was a bit surprised no TV but will loan you a tablet so you can sign up for Netflix etc Food was very good and very individual, all produced locally Free non allocated parking. Real lovely walk along the lake into Queenstown which took about an hour , although a bus stops just down the road from the hotel

總體來說一般，周邊環境沒的說，確實湖邊，離商業中心也近，但是房子很舊，像招待所，廚房設施相比我們這十幾天住的其他的真是太落後了。停車倒是還方便，不是很推薦！想住好一點同價位的也好多，民宿也比較特色，而且皇后鎮和其他周邊鎮不遠，尤其是箭鎮，可以選擇在箭鎮住民宿也挺不錯的

Lake view rooms are perfect. The hotel is ok and as a Mercure, pricing is reflective in the higher end. It’s about a 20 minute walk into town which is downhill. To many sherbets and coming back I would recommend a lift. The local bus is halfway down the hill also. Bar staff and restaurant staff are smiling and helpful. Front desk need to take some learnings from them. Dinner 1 night was a nice meal accompanied by a nice wine and very pleasant service. Breakfast….save your money and head into town. You are paying for the view. Pay as you go as you don’t want a surprise when you check out.

我們帶着兩個孩子(9和12)出行,想要一個帶泳池的酒店,這真的是我們入住的主要亮點。家庭房有兩個雙胞胎和一個國王,對我們的船員來說很好。早餐價格過高 - 成人歐式早餐28美元,兒童14美元,只是爲了烤麪包和普通水果沙拉和酸奶。晚餐菜單看起來是梅,我們從來沒有看到有人在那裏吃一頓飯當我需要爲孩子們買一些簡單的東西時,三個人想出了薯條和蔬菜的一面。前台工作人員很友好,位置很好(步行到鎮上很容易,但步行回去會是徒步旅行),即使地毯可以使用真空,清潔人員在走廊也很友好。這是一個很好的住宿地點,但不值得紀念,我們不會在嘗試另一個地方之前回去。(雖然大堂的棋盤對我們的兒子很受歡迎)。

My rating of 'very good' takes into consideration the amount we paid to stay here. This was the cheapest of our 12 accommodations in NZ at under £100 equivalent. We actually felt an element of sadness as the hotel has clearly had a much grander past and is suffering now, either through lack of investment or changes in customer demand. We noticed that visitors to Queenstown are in the majority younger people looking for the thrill experiences, so perhaps a hotel on the outskirts of the town originally designed for the more discerning traveller is no longer what people are looking for. The Dining room for example is grandly furnished and has amazing views across the river - you can imagine a fine dining experience here being very popular , but now the restaurant is closed for evening meals and just opens for breakfast. Such a shame. We were advised by email that evening meals were no longer available so we were prepared for that and as there are other places close by it was not a problem for us. Our room was very spacious and had an equally spacious balcony. It was bigger than many other rooms we had in other accommodations. True, it was dated and tired but the bed was comfortable, clean and we slept well. Fresh milk was easily available at reception in a small glass bottle for in room beverages - I prefer that arrangement - the little plastic packets of milk are not environmentally friendly and fresh milk always tastes nicer. The walk/ hall way to the rooms from reception to the 1st floor was in a very poor state - this gives a very poor impression and badly needs redecorating. Breakfast was ok - not amazing, but for the money paid we felt it served its purpose well. The staff we saw were all very friendly and accommodating. There is no lift in the building and the gentleman on reception offered to take our cases up to our room as he could see they were quite heavy. It will be interesting to see what happens with this hotel over the coming years, we do wish the current team well as clearly things are not easy for them at the moment.
