A very nice hotel in an excellent location for Southsea beach and common. Excellent breakfast, comfortable room and helpful staff.

The service was poor, the on site parking was full and although we where given a permit for free parking we had to park away from the hotel. The room at a glace was lovley and had the added rose petles chocolate and prosseco as requested, the room was not great it wasnt as clean as we would have liked the carpet had been spray painted and genrally poorly maintained. For how much we had paid we where expecting alot more for our money

Welcomed by friendly and knowledgeable lady, shown to our room, she offered to take our bags and apologized as we were on the top floor, lovely clean room, nice selection of tea and coffee plus biscuits, toiletries in the bathroom, bed was comfy and we slept well. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, my daughter joined us (for an extra fee) but it was no problem to add and extra person, they rearranged the seating to accommodate us. All in all, it was a lovely stay, thank you

Nice large room. A few quirky touches. Nice bathroom but over complicated shower/bath controls.
It’s a big house converted to a hotel with the Breakfast room in the basement. On quite a busy road but not noisy as double glazed.

This is a lovely place to stay and the receptionist went above and beyond to look after us especially when it came to the breakfast. My partner and I would come back and stay again

Really enjoyable stay, comfortable room, nice breakfast. The front of house staff member was heaven sent, very helpful welcoming and friendly, a credit to the hotel
