The check in process was amazing! The front desk lady was great! Very welcoming, knew her job well, and was very pleasant and kind. The ONLY issue I had was there was no remote for the tv when I entered. She called maintenance and he tried several different remotes from other rooms and none would work. After several calls to his boss and a couple hours of my alone time before bed I called the front to ask if I might receive some sort of discount or something and just forget the tv as I needed to be left alone. She said something about “putting in for a discount” which probably means no. The maintenance guy kept coming back. I explained that I had called and to just go ahead and let it be, that I could watch you YouTube on my phone. He didn’t pick up what I was saying and kept at it. By the time he got it working I a just wanted to lay down and watch some videos on my phone and go to sleep. Other than that, the room was as clean as possible (it’s an older hotel), a beautiful king size bed that was extremely comfortable. Wonderful cool and soft sheets. Everything was arranged beautifully and very comfortable. I only needed the room for roughly 8 hours or so but it was worth it. Highly recommend. Oh! I was poolside so had a gorgeous view both before bed and in the morning.
