This hotel makes a great impression from the moment you see it, positioned prominently on Macedonia Square. Yes it is a chain hotel, but I have to say it still has a very unique feel and identity. I only stayed for one night whilst having a quick look around Skopje, but from my experience I'd say from looking around, you cannot find better in Skopje. The impression of the hotel being something starts with the entrance with doormen at the red carpet entry, that and of course the sheer aesthetic of the building, which looks really imposing. Reception has a couple of podiums with staff to assist you, lots of lounge seating, a bar area and lounge seating as well as a central staircase inviting you to the mezzanine. The lifts in this hotel are huge, we were quickly checked-in and on our way to room 404. The corridors are lit in such a way, it evokes a very chilled and quiet environment. Our room was massive, we had a twin room, but the beds are larger than singles. The room had so many different lighting options that you can set to your own liking. The window was a bay window, this meant you could see both left and right as well as directly in front. We were situated at the side of the hotel which meant we were overlooked fairly closely by the office block opposite, but it would only affect privacy if you had the room fully lit with the curtains open at night. The toilet was partitioned separately with its own door, and also featured its own hand basin. The main part of the bathroom with a large sink and vanity unit was cleverly designed with two large sliding walls which means you could access it from two sides or open both fully, which makes the whole room seem even larger and more like a boutique-style room. There was plenty of storage and hanging space in the wardrobe, we also had a full-sized iron and board, as well as an electronic safety deposit box and hospitality/tea and coffee making facilities. We also received two complimentary bottles of water. The large sideboard featured more storage, a stocked minibar and flat screen smart TV. There was a comfortable chair and side table. I slept very well in the bed, the air conditioning was very effective also. Our room was situated on the same floor as the swimming pool which isn't all that good, I would have imagined it would have been better on the glass section on the roof overlooking Macedonia Square, however it is located in the centre of the hotel with different sauna and steam rooms as well as a large jacuzzi. The facilities in this area are excellent, but pool however is disappointingly small and as I have said the location didn't feel fitting, but it did feel intimate and secluded. Our visit was so brief, we did not get a chance to use any of the food and beverage facilities of the hotel, that said, the areas we saw looked very good quality. The hotel is very central, most of the architecture in the immediate area matches the hotel. It can appear that someone went to Las Ve
Generally a great place to stay with parking directly out the front and the team were great - they all seem to work solo which is a credit to them, managing to keep themselves occupied on a long shift alone. A stones through from the main attractions and also has a really nice little terrace out the back.
This has to be the worst hotel I've ever booked. i stayed in this hotel recently and i had no heating for 2 days i complained about this 5 times to different members of staff including management and nothing was done not even a room swap was offered only complimentry breakfast and a electric heater was offered. The reason for me being even more upset with the horrible service of this hotel is that i was with a 1 year old baby and she left with a cold after staying in this hotel room for 2 days without heating. After explaining that i can not use the electric heater because i have a baby in the room and its a hazard i was told that they will pass this feedback on. The staff couldn't care less all i wanted was a different room because the heating program was not working and can only be turned on from reception and turns of every 2 hours. I will decently be leaving a google review and other reviews for no one with kids to ever book this hotel.
