Beautiful building and great service in the bars! I can say from personal experience that Casie and Paige make that place feel like home for a lot or people around here. The food menu has changed, but so has a lot in our world. I frequent this resort very often and will continue. While reading some of the negative reviews I can’t help but shake my head. Those girls run like crazy, bartending, waitressing, and running food from the kitchen upstairs each time. Complaining that they sold out of menu items (like they intend to) or that the workers “didn’t seem busy to you” is very petty. I’m sorry but it is, you girls rock! This resort is gorgeous, full of amenities and has some really great staff. Our Prime Rib was cooked to perfection tonight, our room is clean and quiet and the girls in the bar tonight totally rocked it as always! With the change in ownership the business saw a lot of changes, not all were positive but I see it getting better and better each time we come! Keep up the good work ladies! The Boundary Waters is my favorite Saturday night spot!

Went for family Christmas they were the best the room was clean and they were constantly cleaning other rooms like they should be I highly recommend four seasons also I don’t understand how people leve bad reviews about this place it’s a very good place to stay.

Everything about our staythere was great exceot for the horrendously stiff queen bed we slept on. It was like a slab of stone. Outside of that the property and hotel were absolutely stunning. I think perhaps next time we will try a King bed

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Four Seasons 36 years ago, and this was our first trip back to stay at the hotel. It is a beautiful facility that combines the history and legacy of the resort, with modern amenities.

The staff was friendly and accommodating....emjoyed the dinner theater and delicious food. So much fun! Thank you!

Praise for the staff. And so disappointing again. Went here also in April, 2023. Paid top dollar for a great suite with "full" kitchen. Absolutely no dishes, pots, pans, silverware, cups, bowls, nothing. Who does that? had to ask for them to bring up some kitchen items. They brought up later in a rubber made container. A few plates, plastic and paper bowls and cups!!!, no coffee cups, no wine glasses, cheap utensils. I had sent a letter to the management and an e-mail back in April and never received a reply. Wanted to give them another chance as we have stayed there before under different management and it was much better. They used the Covid excuse again both visits. Sigh... they have a banquet equipped kitchen on premises and do weddings, banquets, etc. all the time. So they have dishwashers that can sanitize. Also, we went specifically to see a wonderful performer October 13 in The Lounge and to go to the Diamond Room restaurant. We love that venue. However, they closed the restaurant and the Lounge and moved her to the loud bar downstairs. We have to give 3 days notice to cancel and they still charge, but they can close 2 out of 3 venues with no notice..... AND, at Boundary Waters, no fish for their Friday fish fry and they advertised Prime Rib Sat night and didn;t know at 3:15 pm whether they would have any????? Poor management. I have recommended this place over the past 18 years to people but not any more.

Would not recommend this resort and will never go back again. We had a three night stay and left after two nights. The restaurant on site was closed and we had tried to make reservations ahead of time but was never told it was closed while booking our stay. The ice cream parlor was closed. The extra lock inside our room door was broken. Three out of 4 vending machines were out of order. Very weak internet service. Only one washcloth in the room. No do not disturb sign to hang outside our room. The only positive was the room was clean.

First, I have to state the hotel is on an island. How cool! The room was very spacious and clean. It didn't have that "old musty smell," which was a plus. I enjoyed my stay, but there were a few issues. The website didn't state some of the restaurants were closed. I wanted to spend more time at the resort, but no restaurants were open for breakfast. Only bar food was available from 11 am - 9 pm. My bathroom had a whirlpool tub/shower combination. Very strange. Being shorter, I had to carefully lift my leg without slipping. My 6'5" husband even had difficulty. I recommend the hotel install grab bars as the shower was very slippery. Lastly, I understand hotels are short of staff, but getting clean towels without asking would have been nice.

We attended a family wedding and after being in the business for many years, were totally disappointed. The bartenders in the lower bar were fighting and swearing at each other and throwing garnishes at each other. They were very rude to customers. When we went through the buffet for dinner it wasn’t kept up very well. The salad bowls were empty, and when the bride told us she ordered mashed potatoes and they had a breakfast potato. When the chicken was low they didn’t have any in the hot box in the buffet room, they had to run back to the other room to get it. They also had gravy which was no use because of no mashed potatoes. The dinner rolls could have been used for chew toys they were so tough. The last 25 people didn’t get any beef tips because they ran out. When we went back into the buffet room to take some pictures I saw that the baked chicken had run out and there was some kind of boneless chicken breast that was all dried out in a pan for the last few people. This was the worst food I ever had at a wedding.
