Good: - Right on the beach - room was clean - free roll of paper towels - Friendly staff - Comfy beds - Pool area very nice Other: - Room was not cleaned even tho we put the sign on the door - Aggressive check in and check out times - There is no longer a restaurant but there is a convenience store that has food - Elevators are REALLY slow - Building is old

We enjoyed our stay at the Maverick. Our studio was the perfect size for my husband and I. Great location, clean room, and every room is ocean front. An oceanfront balcony is always important to us! We had never been to Ormond Beach. It is a very quiet area, not much going on.

Loved my stay at the Maverick! The DJ at the pool was awesome & knew just the right music to play. The morning sunrise view from the balcony was beautiful! Everyone was very nice & I'm definitely going back!

They definitely went above and beyond to take care of us. We will be back on our next trip to the beach. Staff is super friendly. Nice accomodations. Nice pool area. The only downside is the elevators are a little slow. But hey we are at the beach. Nothing to waste but time. We will gladly do it again next time.

This is not a hotel, it's a timeshare. There were few of us staying, and each and every time we asked April or Lisa and that dude at the front desk for anything, they were so obnoxious to us that we avoided the front desk altogether.

They stated that the check in time was 4 pm. And that is so true. We got there at 3:45 pm. There was a line up before us. They waited exactly to 4 pm before they checked anybody in! It was so annoying. They could have started checking people in earlier but no! 4 pm! Their employees just stood there until 4 pm. There was a line up before me. I didn’t get checked in until 4:30. I stood there for 45 minutes during a pandemic! This is NOT a resort. It is a motel/hotel. I had to do an inventory of everything in the room once I checked in. I have stayed at beautiful resorts….I have never had to wait until4 pm to check in. I have never had to do an inventory before! How many pillows, how many forks, how many towels, how many blankets. The room adjacent to me..the guy was sick. I could hear him vomiting! But….all in all…it is comfortable. I love the ocean view!

Great place to stay on the ocean. Great pool area. Staff Tremendous, especially maintenance folk. Always nice to be around. Gas Grills kept clean. Beach is right there. Hot tub and whole poole area kept very clean. Plenty of chairs. Parking was easy

Ask all questions concerning the unit you will be assigned (size, amenities, location of the bed to the air conditioning unit and lighting). Staff was helpful, unit was presentable - but furnishings were dated, kitchen was equipped.

The Maverick has continued to improve over the years. The rooms offer the best view possible and if you like waking up to the sun coming up over the beach , this is the place for you. The hot tub and pool will not be matched and the friendliness everyone is amazing. I absolutely love this place
