這家民宿真的是太美了。雖然在巷子深處，但安排非常貼心。前台可以幫忙叫突突車，去海灘附近的餐廳。整個酒店就在運河邊，陽台上有不同的小鳥，野生孔雀造訪。設施設備也很新。唯一美中不足的是離運河很近，晚上如果下雨的話雨聲真的很大.....也會有小蟲造訪房間，但瑕不掩瑜，非常棒的住宿體驗。

房間乾淨服務好，早上猴子隨處可見，很美很舒服的酒店。下次度假希望能安靜地住幾天，沖沖浪，玩玩水，更怡然自得一點！ 早餐的這個蘭卡炸餃子大家一致好評

我是為了觀鯨在美瑞莎選了這個酒店，從科倫坡下飛機到酒店有點晚了，衹有一個服務生接待領入房間，他家地點不太好找，但從進門那一刻還是讓我挺驚喜的，有種深宅大院的感覺，滿滿的綠色植物，一個泳池，房間非常整潔，燈光幽暗，有陽台可以觀外景，早上鳥鳴聲不斷，讓人感覺忘記時間很是享受，下次一定多住兩天，好好體驗一下這個酒店。

Perfect, mooie tuin , goed bed met ruime klamboe, inkoopkast , badkamer is simpel maar alles aanwezig . Wij hadden de Sunset kamer …s’morgens op het balkon prachtig uitzicht . Het huis zelf is een beetje in Bali stijl . Personeel zorgt echt dat je niets te kort komt Op hun kosten brengt een tuktuk je ook weg naar bv het strand.

My partner and I had a great one night stay at the D Canal House. The manager is amazing! He is on Whatsapp and will send you lots of information to make the most of your stay. You can also contact him this way to get a free tuk tuk onto the main road. This saved us lots of time and was very convenient. The pool is also amazing! It was so warm, clean and peaceful. We had birds and fire flies entertaining us in the evening. The entrance and gardens are also amazing which lead to the main house. It felt a lot higher end than we were expecting. Free drinks and butter cake (which was great!) are available in reception which was a nice touch too. The bathroom was stylish and had everything you needed. I would recommend D Canal House.

Hôtel superbe ! Pas de dîner sur place mais navette en tuktuk et on nous fourni une liste de restaurants ainsi que d'endroits a voir proche de l'hôtel ! Chambre incroyable (villa) immense et magnifique. Le petit déjeuner fait maison est délicieux, le meilleur que nous avons eut en 8 jours au Sri Lanka !

Honestly, this is the best place I have ever stayed. There is literally nothing to complain about! Every single staff member went above and beyond, were so amazingly friendly and sincere. We stayed in one of the huts, which was enormous. There was even a fully stocked kitchen, which was great for making lunch. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was also spacious and it was so quiet and serene. The pool area was also another amazing aspect of this place. Always clean and calm. We found out that there was actually only 3 huts and 3 rooms above the main building, which meant that at times, you felt like you had the whole place to your self. As others have mentioned, it is a 15 minute walk to the beach - but that is not a problem at all. You can even catch a free tuk tuk to the main road, if you're too lazy to walk ;-) The breakfast was also delicious, and I swear, the man at breakfast makes the absolute best omelette I have ever had! Lahiru, Milan, the kind kind man at breakfast (I am so sorry, I forgot your name) and all the other staff was brilliant - thank you SO much! Please do your self a favor and book this place - I promise, you will not regret it! To those people who would even think to give this place beneath 5 stars - look yourself in the mirror :-)

Voor de laatste 2 nachten van onze rondreis hadden wij een luxere locatie geboekt. We hadden het huisje Hibiscus- bleek enorm ruim, supermooie douche en prachtig ingericht met ook diverse zitjes op veranda. Huisjes liggen in geweldig mooie tuin, met s'avonds allemaal lichtjes dat je je in een sprookje waant. Zwembad geeft heerlijke afkoeling. Ontbijt was geweldig lekker. Helaas weten we naam niet van de kok (tevens mannetje van alles) maar zelfs de jam maakt hij zelf. Milan de manager is super attent en denkt mee na over bv transport maar regelt ook alles voor je.

A truly wonderful stay for us, with a beautifully prepared room, fantastic pool, outstanding breakfast and all the little touches and gestures that define a great hotel and staff. We absolutely loved our three nights here and are very grateful to Milan and his team for always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Wound highly recommend this beautiful establishment.

The approach to D Canal House might mislead but the warm welcome on arrival was only the very beginning of a three day stay that excelled on every count. What a beautiful place! Lush gardens and a lovely pool area and so peaceful!! A seamless check-in and we were shown to our bungalows. So artfully decorated and with all the mod cons. Spotless and comfortable with a huge well- appointed bathroom with a vast array of high-end toiletries. Breakfast is spectacular, the staff are amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them and I’m running out of superlatives….. If you’re planning a break in Sri Lanka, put Mirissa in your itinerary……. and D Canal House!

This place feels special from the moment you step into the property. It is set in beautiful surroundings about 15 minutes walk from the Main Street (but they provide a free tuk tuk there) around a lake/pond that is teaming with wildlife. The pool area is stunning and absolutely spotlessly clean. Lahiru and team really made us feel at home straightaway. He even provided his WhatsApp number and was on hand with any questions we had - first class service. We stayed in Bungalow Hibiscus which was like a suite at exceptional value for money. Finally, the breakfast was outstanding with a mix or Sri Lankan and western food. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. If you come to Mirissa you simply have to stay here 🤗
