酒店的周圍確實很荒涼，都是農田，但也正因為如此，酒店很安靜，不吵鬧，很喜歡，套房真心很大，我和我老公都超滿意，衹住了三晚都覺得意猶未盡，在毛裏求斯除非你住在靠近路易港的周邊，否則基本度假村的位置都是比較偏僻的，悅椿雖然不大，但很有特色，就衹房間來說我覺得比我們後來住的長灘好，因為在西北區我們還看了日落，很圓滿～酒店服務人員都很熱情，讓我們有一種家的溫馨感！

經朋友推薦，在網上選擇了這家威斯汀酒店。非常棒的度假體驗，首先酒店的裝修古樸大氣，有點海邊莊園古堡的意思，房間內的裝修也大氣實用，而且這次因為朋友推薦，提前預約的原因，給提供的房型還有個很大的露台，下午睡一覺，美死了。房間還給準備了，小禮物，棕櫚葉編的浴巾筐和一件T恤（拘束女士來了還有沙灘裙），還有一份小甜點（椰蓉巧克力最棒） 下午睡一覺，去逛了一圈，酒店有好幾個泳池，還有專門的成人區，天公不作美，趕巧下小雨就沒下水。不過看着很nice。 晚餐選擇了主泳池邊上那個餐廳，口味偏亞洲口味，而且運氣比較好的是，剛剛增加了鐵板燒，廚師的手藝相當的秀。

酒店位置一般，雖然在海邊，但並沒有海灘，唯一的就是非常僻靜了。酒店所在的院子非常非常大，裏面有很多中短期出租的house。酒店設施比較老舊了，不過還算有點特色，酒店大堂不大，裏面的鳥籠裏餵了幾隻鳥。服務還OK，吃飯的話有兩個餐廳，一個bar可供選擇，有一家是馬來西亞人開的亞洲餐廳吃飯比較貴，下麪那家當地餐廳價格可接受。酒店的WIFI非常差，在房間經常接收不到信號。

I have visited Voila 4 times already and enjoyed my stay each time! What stands out for me are the little things...when the restaurant management are warm and kind when I request some honey and fresh milk to take to my room that I may make a nice cup of tea in my room. I am here for business and spend many hours working late in my room and don't have the time to sit in the restaurant to order tea. The breakfast could do with more fresh vegetables (sliced cucumber, red peppers, baby tomatoes) and perhaps some salmon. The hotel has been beautifully renovated since my previous stay - but the showers need some TLC - black mold in the grout between the tiles. the staff are always so friendly!!! Thank you!

We checked in with disappointment and complaints about the room and the hotel in overall. The pictures on the Internet are very deceiving compared to what you actually see when you go there. This place badly need renovation and it needs to be closed down. Once, the place have the makeover then it should reopen. I got a room which was not convenient at all for my baby especially as we live in a very clean and beautiful house. It was extremely disappointing to pay for such mediocrity. I made sure that Eclesia knew how disappointed we were and I requested to pay for a seaview room and she tried to arranged for that. We saw the room but we were still not happy and I was thinking to cancel my stay. However, Eclesia felt my concern and shared it with The Manager Kris who then upgraded us to a better room at no cost. The view at the hotel is mesmerising both sunset and sunrise. The food at the restaurant is very limited in variety but it was very very tasty. Hats off to the Chef. The ladies at the restaurant was very nice to us and Kris cane to us several times during our stay we make sure we were okay.

The good The hotel is clean and room very spacious with self catering facilities. The staff are friendly and the owner even better. He was very accommodated with us when we had 3 rooms booked for me, my wife and 2 teenage daughters but were separated around the hotel. As we wanted to be together, he rearranged the rooms so that we could be together the following days. Another day, he accepted for his kitchen staff to cook our pasta because the little convector hot plate didn’t work with a metal saucepan😂 He also arrange at a reasonable cost for us stay in 1 room on the last day as we had an evening flight but had to leave at 10am. The free shuttle to the beach or local shopping centre was good and very welcome as there is no amenities around the hotel. The included breakfast is basic but good enough (especially on crêpe days😂) The laundry service was also welcome, especially for long stays. The not so good We had a wooden hut/canopy being built/renovated just outside our rooms from 10am everyday But i understand that a hotel open all year round has to do some improvement at some point. The main pool was being retiled and my teenage daughters didn’t want to go there because for the workmen and tools around. The bathroom and kitchen tap don’t supply hot water, which makes it difficult to shave or do the washing up. We had a hole with one of our bathroom tile with constant 1000s of tiny midges (ants style) going back & forward to the window. Again, i understand that Mauritius is tropical and this can happen anywhere but try to explain that to 2 town teenage girls lol. So minor negative points that did affect our stay at this very quiet hotel. In fact we had a fantastic stay there. So 4 out 5 starts as some mild improvement can be made.
