Stayed here with my son for his Birthday. Had absolute great time. The facilities absolute lux had a Juliet balcony overviewing St Paul’s church memorial. The swimming suit is absolute great the food absolute yummy. I will return here soon

We are currently staying at the Berkeley and on the whole it’s been good. The Food service here at breakfast and for dinner is quite exceptional, really good quality and very knowledgeable staff. We have a lovely room with a view of the church, but on arrival neither tv worked, nor did the toilet, these are basic things that should just work and it shouldn’t take several requests to have this rectified. We have 3 rooms and in the Berkeley rooms there is no privacy in the bathrooms, all is visible from the bedrooms, so if this may be an issue. They did say house keeping could screen it off, but it hasn’t been done and we are checking out tomorrow and I’m a bit fed up of having to follow up every request. The reception area is chaotic and if there’s more than two of you there’s nowhere to sit when checking in. Our suite should come with certain things like complimentary mini bar etc but none of this was explained. They asked about our children’s hobby’s and interests but nothing has been offered, no child centric amenities etc, despite offering this with family room bookings. It’s been a bit of a let down as lots of things mentioned online never materialise, and issues with things not working shouldn’t require multiple conversations.

The Beautiful Berkeley hotel has bern ruined. No porters greeted us do had to carry luggage in ourselves. Messy and cheap looking “reception” in the muddle of a smelly bakery/cafee. The famous gym and pool combo where one can tryly relax is gone. Have to go to another hotel through all sorts of restaurants and baars for breakfast and gym. Mattresses did not fit oversized bedframes and we got all bruised. Wc and showers without doors - disqusting. Stairways outside window required us to have curtains closed all day. Only thing not screwed up was Blue Bar. Shameful. Management nerds to be changed
