蘭辛東凱悅嘉軒飯店(Hyatt Place Lansing East)

They have to many hideen fees . $75 deposit with a credit card on file . $10 for guest parking ? Ill never stay here again becsuse of these two issues for me . A fee for parking afted ive paid for a room (home away from home). I dont pay to park at a place im paying fo stay at unless im rquesting valey service . I was forced to pay to park accross the street and carry my bags to the hotel from that point . Its just not something im willing to pay e tra for . Its a scam . There are plenty of hotels in the area that convenience there customers with free on site parking .

I came to Lansing to take my nursing boards . My room was perfect, they put me on the 6th floor tucked into a corner. It was quiet, I was able to study, and I was able to sleep the whole night without getting woken up.

I was there for an overnight stay and it was absolutely perfect! When I return to Lansing, this is where I plan to stay. Absolutely fantastic...

Overall not the worst stay I have had, but definitely NOT the best. First walking into the room it was fine. But the shower had mold and there was trash behind the curtains in the windows. The husband I decided to go try their Placery bar and food located in their lobby. Turns out the service at the “restaurant” is also the lady who gives you your room key. She did not know how to make drinks and told us our food wouldn’t come out super fast due to only having her and one other employee working. I asked why they had a “restaurant” if they don’t have kitchen staff. No real answer was given. Moved past that and when we got our food it was served in take out containers haha. The burger was TERRIBLE! Like wow! Could not eat that. They really should NOT hype up their “restaurant and bar” when they don’t even have qualified people to cook their food or make drinks. Will be finding a different hotel for next time.

Only thing that I would note as a complaint is that they charge for parking which there’s no need for because the parking lot is enormous and ample.

It was a very nice property. I loved the spacious small sectional in the room. The textured wallpaper in the bathroom was a nice touch. The shower was very large and had the towel rack at the end of it so you didn’t have to step out of the shower to dry off. I was very impressed with the staff and the cleanliness. I saw a person wiping down the metal grid on the elevator entrance door. I have never seen that before.

Staff is amazingly friendly and the rooms very clean. Makes it feels like home away from home.

I usually like staying at Hyatt Place but I won't return here. One elevator was out the day we arrived and the other was out the next day. I was just glad I only had to carry our luggage down 2 flights of stairs and not 6. Not interested in staying in a hotel that neglects maintenance
