Was looking for a last minute hotel and saw the great reviews but the room was not clean had to kill 3 spiders while we were in bed. The room seems like it had been maybe not used in awhile. Everything was dusty. I wish i would have taken more photos.

During my stay, I found The Westin, Lake Mary to be an average hotel. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. There was a long-ish delay to check-in, but I don't fault the hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and did try to make things right. The rooms though, leave something to be desired. The bathroom is big but oddly laid out (no towel hooks near the shower), and the overall decor is old and dated. The real downsides were the very old mattresses that were very soft and uncomfortable (they need to be changed, too) and the fact that my toilet broke early in the AM that I had to fix myself (there was no engineering at that time). Breakfast in the attached restaurant was also very confusing to navigate since there was a buffet, but we didn't know how to order drinks or if they were part of the breakfast voucher. The food quality was good, though. The hotel is located in a business-park type of environment with wide multi-lane roads. But, there's a grocery store and a bunch of restaurants across the street that are walkable via the nearby pedestrian crossing. Parking, for my stay, was ample. In summary, the dated decor and overall average experience will have me likely staying elsewhere if I'm in the area again. It's not quite up to "Westin" standards, but if you want to give it a try I won't discourage you - just know that it's an older hotel that could use some refurbishment.

Very nice hotel, pricey but to be expected with the area and having a Shula's restaurant inside. Comfortable room and beds, large bathroom. Only thing I disliked was the walls are very thin, I could hear someone listening to music through the wall.

Elevators were on the fritz all week. No idea when theyll be fixed. Had to keep asking for towels and wash cloths as theyd take them and not replace.

Housekeeping was non-existent during our stay, really disappointing. On check in we got a notification that we needed to put our trash and towels out in the hall every day by 12 for pick up, but never got picked up. I had to call the front desk multiple times to get trash cleaned up and necessities delivered. Service should have been much better for this type of hotel.

Love Westin hotels, very comfortable beds and pillows, needed to stay on this area and I was happy with the location, the space, easy parking, convenient restaurant, etc

We enjoyed our stay as we just got back from a cruise and it was located very conveiently to a shopping area and resturants for eating. The staff was very nice and had our room cleaned asap. Very nice hotel and loved everything.

It's a good hotel and my only complaint is that I think $16 for a breakfast buffet is a little pricy. The breakfast was good but not awesome which is what I would expect from the price.

No parking upon check in with no other options. Shower was dirty with previous guest’s used razor and toiletries left in it. Later after returning from our event , our room keys did not work. Only good was that the bed was very comfortable.

- dirty, poor service, line to check in at 1 am, room service menu in room by hotel didnt offer it, beds old and sheets dingy, ask for housecleaning and they never came for all 4 days

Nice room. Quiet stay. Maybe a few more outlets near the bed to charge devices.
