The Forester was a beautiful place to stay. The hotel has been recently updated and looks very nice. The rooms worked great for us, we were with 2 other couples and had a couch and chair in the room so we could visit with them in the evening.
I would stay here again if I was in the area.

After Chris**as we joined a few friends for a weekend of shopping and dinner. I wanted a mini staycation and found The Forester to be a nice option for the night… arrival and check in was quick and pleasant. Our room was clean and I loved the seating area, there was plenty of space to move around the room and to seat away from the beds. Water pressure in the shower was great. The only thing was the sounds coming from the HVAC unit… it sounded like ice cycles falling each time the unit came on… that would awaken me and my husband - our daughter didn’t seemed phased by the noise but she is a teenager! The noise would be my only complaint about the hotel. Check out was at noon, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the hotel’s restaurant, but I would like to stay again to see how the food is. Since we stayed during the weekend ahead of Nee Years, I found the price to be on the higher end for a single nights stay…

The service was great. The only issue we had was regarding the bed/bedding. We were expecting a higher guality and more comfortable matress and bedding.

This is by far the best hotel that I have stayed at in 30 yrs. The room was spotless, staff the extremely polite and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic. Unfortunately, I will most likely never come back to Chicago.

I love the Forester. Extremely clean, the staff is amazing and jovial. The rooms are amazing and you can smell the cleanliness. I will always recommend the Forester.

Loved the Hotel. From the greeting at check-in up to check out, all went well. Rooms are very comfortable. Would definitely came out again.
