I stayed at this hotel for a few days, and while the location was fantastic, the service was very disappointing. The staff were unhelpful and seemed uninterested in assisting guests. I requested to have the beddings changed on the second or third day, but it was never done despite several reminders. The receptionist was rude and more focused on her phone than on helping guests. Even when another staff member asked her to pay attention, she ignored me completely. The attitude at the front desk was unpleasant and unprofessional. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

مستوي النظافة سي جدا تواجد كثيف للحشرات في الغرفة ٤٠٢ مما اضطرني الي تغيير الغرفة إلى ٤٠١ للأسف تجرب لايمكن ان تتكرر أبدا

Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a 4-Star Experience
I had a very disappointing experience at Merkure Jeddah Al Hamraa Hotel and feel compelled to share it to help others make informed decisions.
Upon arrival, the first room I was given had multiple issues:
• The carpet was visibly dirty.
• One of the beds spring was protruding, making it extremely uncomfortable.
• Worst of all, the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, even though I had specifically requested a non-smoking room.
After raising these concerns, I was moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better:
• One of the beds was badly sagging, making it hard to sleep.
• The sink was leaking, creating a mess in the bathroom.
The problems didn’t end there. The breakfast was extremely poor — lacking variety, tasting bland, and clearly not up to standard. On top of that, the restaurant floor was sticky, which is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 4 stars.
To top it all off, the male receptionist at checkout was unprofessional and not properly trained in customer service. No apology, no concern, just a cold and dismissive attitude.
This hotel does not meet 4-star standards in any way — in fact, even 3 stars would be generous based on my experience. Don’t book here if you’re expecting quality service or comfort.

I spent three days in this Hotel. The location is good as it is within walking distance to the beach side (note the beach is not swimable) and it’s closed to a few food court and shopping centre. The Hotel had a gym and sauna. Facilities in gym are not well maintained but sauna dan swimming pool are good. Food is not bad for an Indonesian Australian tongue. Service is very good thanks for some staffs that could speak English (mostly Bangladesh). The distance to the airport is around 20-25 minutes so that’s one of the drawbacks. I will recommend this hotel

One Cheapest international chain hotel in Jeddah.. small no view room, bit Humid carpet. Water at bathroom but yellow. Old furnished, with firm bed matras.
Breakfast not that bad..but no standby cooker at the egg stay, lazy for service.
They lock the fitness center and the pool. You have to ask them if you want to use it.
