復興飯店(Hotel Renew)

Near ( a block from) Waikiki Beach but not on the main "drag" . Some rooms have beach views and some have small balconies. Hotel is smaller than many with less rooms per floor equals which means less noisy neighbors. An older hotel beautifully updated with island referenced decor.

Was really nice. We especially loved the guy at the front desk for the night shift he was amazing and very accommodating. Any requests we made were completed quickly and didn’t take forever to complete. Loved that they had all the beach amenities. But I do see what people meant about the resort fees as I thought it was included when we already paid. One thing with the ocean view is you can hear literally everything from what’s going on in the street. The shower water is hot at all it’s very good and hard to enjoy a shower. Aswell as the bathroom wall is glass so a little awkward sharing with your family. Over all it was great biggest thing was noise and water for us.

the staff is really kind. this is a great place if you dont have a car otherwise its $50 a day and anytime you need your car you obviously have to tip which becomes quite inconvenient. otherwise its nice and close to the beach and anything you need!

Great location, a half block off the beach. Lots of restaurant options. Close to Kapiolani Park, Kuhio Beach and Honolulu Zoo. Staff very friendly and helpful. Efficient use of space. Not fancy, but we don’t spend a lot of time in our room when traveling.

The staff were friendly and kind. And although the hotel was older it was comfortable, clean and convenient. There were multiple days that housekeeping didn’t come to our room and it wasn’t until we inquired that we found out they were short staffed. They were generous with giving us towels and coffee refills upon request but keeping the room pleasant without our own cleaning supplies was difficult and unplanned for.

The check in time is 3 PM whereas the checkout time is 12PM. The property was clean and we had booked a room with a ocean view on the 9th floor. The reason why we have given a 4 is that there was no drinking water in the room. Otherwise, everything was great. They have lavender packets down at the reception, it’s great to grab the packets of flowers which have a nice fragrance and keep them Under your pillow for a good nights sleep.

Hotel Renew is in a great location. Go to Lulu’s around the corner for great food and drinks. Check out Queen Kapiolani hotel for coffee, the Deck and the their gallery, to learn the tragic history of Hawaii. The staff at Hotel Renew is exceptional! The only item of concern was the amenity fee of $30. There is no pool, no gym, no bar, no restaurant.
