This was our second time staying at Sherwood Suites, the first time was in 2019. Our experience this time was just as wonderful. Honestly this has got to be the best hotel in HCMC. It’s worth the extra cost for sure. Our family of 2 adults and 3 children stayed in the Grand Suite which had two bedrooms plus a spare bed in a study nook/large cupboard. Beds are gloriously soft and comfortable, I’m fairly sure they fill the pillows with clouds, the rooms have the fastest wifi known to man, climate controlled quiet air-conditioning, a laundry with washer and dryer, a great kitchen with excellent size fridge, a great living dining area with a couch and table, tons of storage, two palatial bathrooms, and two tv’s with all the modern features (on our main bedroom tv airplay wasn’t working as I’m not sure the tv was connected to the same wifi network as our phones, but you know, first world problems 🤣). The hotel has a fantastic under cover but open air pool which looks small and dark in photos but really is gorgeous and large in real life. It also had a spa/jacuzzi and gym next door, plus a games room for small children, and a pool/billiards room for older ones. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast, where you have a small selection of pastries, yoghurt and fresh fruit and juices (real squeezed orange juice included), then also has a menu where you order as many cooked breakfast items as you like. You can also order a proper latte/tea/coffee as part of the buffet breakfast. The only improvement I can suggest is the rooms didn’t have a guide that told how this worked (there was a small guide on the tv but it mainly listed the services and times), so it was a little confusing working out that we ordered meals on top of the buffet spread at first, mainly as this is unique to Sherwood. The meals were so delicious it’s also worth having lunch or dinner here too, on the pricey side of course but absolutely worth it! Suggestion: It would be great if guests could order room service via an app, the website, or the tv menu, as this would avoid any language confusion and would be lovely for those that don’t feel too social. Staff were excellent, they really go above and beyond! All had really great english and were super friendly and helpful. The manager was always available to help out and offered great suggestions of things to do and see. Nothing was ever a bother, we arranged a tour and a few taxi’s via reception, and a late checkout for one of our rooms for an additional small fee, they handled everything perfectly and it really made the end of our trip a total highlight. Sherwood is very conveniently located in District 3, near lots of places to eat, a million coffee houses, a short walk to a few of the larger shopping centres and undercover market, as well as the war museum, beautiful old Saigon Central Post Office and Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica (cathedral). From the moment we had the doors opened for us into the beautiful lobby we were wowed, and that continued when shown to our beautiful fully equipped apartment. The pool area second to none. The service was exceptional and all with beautiful attitudes and big smiles. Can't thank them enough for such a fantastic experience. Would recommend Sherwood Residence 200%. If ever back in Saigon this is where I would stay.

這可能是近些年我住過的品質最高的酒店了。滿眼法式裝飾元素，但並不覺得繁瑣。無論大堂還是房間，滿滿都是細節。早飯好吃，非常好吃，越南粉做的不輸網紅店。樓頂還有個露台酒吧，夜景絕了。服務員各個熱情，細節好評。所以我説，酒店品質高低真的不止是看房間大小，位置遠近，態度好壞，這遠遠不夠的！真心推薦這家邁之家，絕對胡志明首選！

第一次評價酒店，因為體驗太差了。 體驗特別差的一次住宿，半夜到的酒店，入住時給分配的挨着電梯的房間，居然是正對着電梯，這種房間我還第一次碰到，由於對噪音特別敏感受不了電梯聲音要求換房，跟酒店前台溝通了很久才給換了房間，換的房間在8層，一進樓道整個樓道煙味特別大，進了房間又是一股很重的異味，不是煙味也説不上什麼味，很像嘔吐味，於是讓服務員來除味，服務員噴了香味噴霧後，我想就湊活吧，沒想到往床上一躺，床和被子居然是潮的濕冷。把被子掀開，空調吹了半小時一點變化沒有，衹好大半夜叫服務員來換床單，服務員換了床單，衹能説好一點點，因為被子已經是潮濕的了。沒辦法衹能在潮濕床上睡，所以第一晚折騰到凌晨三點才睡，忍着難聞的味道。我以為床幹了後幾晚就不會再潮了，奇怪的是沒有新換床單的情況下晚上床還是會潮，難聞的味道也一直都有，所以就這樣痛苦的住了四晚。酒店房間都訂滿了，我朋友説他床也是潮的，所以就沒要求再換房間。 真心勸受不了床潮濕和對異味敏感的人不要訂這家酒店。

Het hotel ligt bijna naast het war museum en het paleis. De kamers zijn ruim maar oud en slecht onderhouden. Ik moest drie keer verhuizen. Eerste kamer had iemand in gerookt. T****e kamer deed de WiFi het niet. Derde kamer was het tapijt nat van een lekkend bad. Ontbijt heeft ruime keuze. Receptie spreekt goed Engels. Helaas de rest niet. Zwembad op het dak is niet spannend. Slecht onderhoud.

I have had a terrible experience at this hotel. In couple nights in the room 306, I feel very uncomfortable about the enclosed space of the room and the dirtiness of it, I have also encounted cockroaches and insects such as ants in the electric sockets and little spiders. It came to peak when there was a leakage at the sink, after a night of intense leaking - which I did not notice, the water flooded the entire room to the level of about 11 inches and poured out to the entire hallway. Many of my electronic equipments also broke because of this, including 1 Mac, 1 Ipad and 1 Iphone of mine, plus many of my clothes. After this leakage casualty, the manager of the hotel even refused to compensate my lost and try to avoid all the responsibilities by calling the police to pressing me; he only accept paying 50%. Not only he did not respect his customers, he did not even respect his reputation of this hotel. This causing me and my family a huge waste of time and stress. I will never came back here again. I am strongly not recommend to come to this hotel, because I do not want any other guest to have the same experience like mine. I came here to have a peaceful vacation, not a stressful one. Another thing beside, the altitude of the employees here is very unwelcome to customers.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the semi frosted glass bathroom door without a lock was uncomfortable for my friend and I sharing. The bathroom also flooded whilst using the shower, and even though it was set up like a wet room it didn’t function as one, as it just made it a slippery hazard. The breakfast was decent, but location not ideal for the sightseeing I wanted to do. I think the hotel was recently refurbished and it just didn’t feel fully ready for guests yet, all a bit chaotic and suffering from a poor layout. All in all, I wouldn’t return.

Excellent hotel and great value. Check-in/out flawless. Staff are all very kind and lovely to deal with. The hotel itself is very modern. The location was excellent with 5 different restaurants within 50m and most attractions within 15 minutes by Grab (Asias version of Uber which is extremely cheap $3). The room came equipped with a kitchenette / cooking essentials as well as a fridge and washing machine. Note a wash & dry cycle takes 4 hours as it’s a combo unit. The bathroom and shower was heaven! Also housekeeping do an excellent job and keeping everything in top order. Cocotte is the on-site restaurant that provides breakfast which was basic but good. The staff there are also amazing and helpful. The pool was excellent and we enjoyed a couple of hours a day there cooling off from the hot weather. The only feedback we have for the hotel which stopped them getting 5 stars is the bed was not comfortable for us. They are as hard as a rock :( Other than that, our stay was excellent and we would definitely stay here again! :)

人們砰的一聲關上門,空調很糟糕。但是除了那個....牀很舒服,淋浴就像宇宙飛船!淋浴基本上是按摩浴缸。優越的地理位置,周圍都是廉價的小餐館,沿着馬路就是k圈,還有高地咖啡和樂透。如果你在找便宜的地方....就是這個!

1 / 2 Well, where shall I start? Ok, the positives, as it won’t take very long. The air con in our room (202) was excellent. Never let us down and was as expected. Also, the security to the building was good. Passcode doors to enter the property, before your room key to access your room. The bed was comfy and we slept well, although the image of the deluxe mattress in the web photos is somewhat deceiving. Ours was a about a third of the depth of those shown in the web pics. Now for the negatives. Let’s start with the red ant infestation. They came in everyday near the kitchenet sink area. I think the cleaner may have cleaned them up once, but we ended up having to buy a big can of RAID to wipe them out every morning. I left the mess to see if the cleaner would notice the growing pile of ant bodies needing to be cleaned away, but she either didn’t, or didn’t care. I let them pile up. The extent of the ant problem wasn’t really fully realised until we started to pack up to leave (we stayed 19 nights). Upon moving our clothes, we found ants running around inside, and my wife was almost physically sick when she had found that ants had invaded her make-up bag, and decided to make home in her makeup sponge, which was in a plastic case. The food stuff we had bought to bring home also suffered. Some sealed packets had also become infested and rendered the food useless. We also found some in our bed. This was all reported to Cozrum before we vacated. The condition of the room was pretty terrible. We booked on the basis of the photos and reviews on reputable booking sites such as Booking.com, Expedia and Agodo. What you see in those pictures advertising the property is NOT what you will get now. If you had booked 10 years ago, then maybe, but not now. The walls and ceiling were dirty. The walls had paint missing where chairs had been repeatedly scaped against it. Things that had been stuck and removed from walls had left horrible scuff marks. The “white” walls were dirty. Grime (mold?), years of build up of dust/fat and dirt and probably a faulty aircon unit just made the whole place look dirty. The tap handle in the bathroom had been replaced with a big old screw, and the grime around the sink was horrible. Bed linen was old and tired, as were the towels. We asked for an extra pillow for a family member that needed one for a breathing condition. They said “No”. They apparently only had enough pillows for each room. So, what happens if your pillow is unusable? No replacement? We ended up having to buy one. There were also spiders webs in the corners, and the balcony area looked like it had never been cleaned. Our door lock battery failed whilst we were there, as it did for my mother who was staying upstairs. No fun sitting on the stairs in 40 degree heat waiting for the management company to let you back in. We also encountered other guests trying to access the property.
