雪絨花飯店(Hotel Edelweiss)

Das Hotel seht gut aus, aber vermist das persönliche Gefuhl. Die Leute sind sehr correct und freundlich, aber verstanden nicht alles weil sie nicht allen gut Deutsch sprechen oder English. Das Frühstück was gut, aber in andere gleiche Hotels war es besser durch live cooking von zum beispiel Spiegelei, Pfannenkuchen und so weiter. Das Hotel war nicht schlecht aber nicht besonder. Es wichtigste für uns war das es bei die Bergfriedlift liegst und wir gleich in das Schigebiet herein fahren könnten und unser grossem Zimmer (mit 3 Persönen).

super hotel dichtbij liften en apres ski. heerlijke wellness en goed avondeten. hotel is wel prijzig maar niet anders dan andere hotels in hinterglemm. kamers goed schoon en zeer luxe. jammer dat het erg warm is binnen en je met het raam op moet slapen waardoor je de auto's hoort.

Verbrachten schon zum zweite Mal unseren Urlaub im Hotel und waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Service ausgezeichnet. Das Essen hervorragend. Kommen gerne wieder.

Rooms were clean, beds good, the people at the reception were very friendly and helpful, breakfast and diner really tasty and well presented. Good variety. The hotel is very well situated for skiing and apres skiing. Personal in the bar was unfortunately not very friendly nor flexibel.

We had and 4 day ski trip with our office and stayed at Edelweiss. A very good and well kept hotel with good restaurant. The location was close to the gondola so it was easy to walk. The room was cleaned every day and was equipped with every luxury. Highly recommended!

Very mixed views on this hotel and with some improvements it could be really good. Sadly on this occasion for us travelling as a large party of 13, it didn't tick enough boxes. Firstly the good points: The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard in recent years and has an upscale feel. Rooms are clean and fresh and all appear to have generous balconies with good views. The standard of cleaning was high. The pool, sauna and spa areas are great and offer lovely views back out over the mountain. The massage sevice is also very good and reasonably priced. There was a t-bar lift behind the hotel which provided ski in ski out, however, for beginners and children the nursery slopes are a 10 minute walk away in boots. Some of the ski schools do collect you at various points on the route if you have booked lessons. The bad points: The attitude of the staff was quite mixed. Some were really attentive and friendly whislt the attitude of others left an awful lot to be desired. On one occasion we sat at the wrong table for breakfast which had apparently been set up for evening service. It was an innocent mistake and the staff member virtually gave my wife a verbal dressing down before I intervened and told him having to have to reset a few plates is nothing to get to upset about, after all we were paying guests at quite an expensive establishment. He walked off muttering to himself and shaking his head, which was really un-professional. We were on the half board plan and were expecting better. Breakfast was reasonable, alebit it did take time on occasion for food to be re-stocked by the kitchen, that said there was a decent amount of choice for all. The evening meal consisted of a choice of a meat dish, fish and a vegetarian option. Veal seemed to appear on the menu regularly in various guises and the vegetarian option was limited. You did have the option to order off an a la carte menu and we chose this on a couple of occasions. I was told that a discount would be offered at check out but this wasn't forthcoming. Starter options tended to be various items picked up of the buffet some that looked and tasted like they'd been sitting there for hours and brought to your table. The childrens options never changed through the week and this was quite disappointing. There are no irons or ironing boards in the rooms and seemingly not in the hotel. When I asked for one, I was told that the hotel could take and iron some garments for me at a quite exhorbitant cost. On balance we were slightly disappointed given waht we had paid and would likely try some of the other establishments in the area if we were to return.

Absolutely great hotel, great location! Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, excellent shower. Outstanding breakfast, everything so fresh and delicious. The rooms were totally spotless and so beautiful. Great pool area on top floor, with exquisite view.

I cannot praise this hotel, its facilities and its staff enough. We had an amazing stay here and would come back again and again. We had the Edelweiss Suite for a family of 4 (with 2 teenagers) and it was perfect. Lots of space, loads of storage and 2 balconies! The food was delicious and very creative. The location of this hotel was perfect. 20m walk to the drag lift which connects to the main lifts, or a 5 min walk to the bubble. Excellent!

Lovely family friendly hotel! The rooms were new, clean, nice decor and comfortable for a family of four (we were two adults and two children). The pool and sauna space on the 4th floor was perfect for unwinding after a long day of skiing. The half board meals were excellent and breakfast had a great variety. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is perfectly located beside a T-bar that takes you right to the main ski resort in Hinterglemm (alternatively it’s a 5-10 min walk (with kids in ski boots) to the Ubahn telecabin and ski circus. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I would definitely stay here again!
