Everything was good and the hotel closer to good restaurants

Place was nice and clean

By far the best hotel we stayed at. The room was very spacious, the staff was courteous and respectful. The pool was nice and so was the sauna. The kitchenette was even better. Everything in the room was clean. The cupboard cabinet was easy to access. Will definitely stay here again with my family.

I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and i saw rats running across the room. I was already very upset to see the bed sheets so dirty as if they didn’t change it after the other guests had used it. Disgusting stains. They still didn’t change it but brought me sheets to change it myself. The place is dirty and unkept. Very uncomfortable stay and i am very. Definitely wouldn’t recommend booking this hotel.

I was in town for one day to attend a homegoing service for my cousin. My stay was very comforable, Whenever I'm in town again and there's too many family under one roof, I would definitely book at Candlwood Suites!

Check-in was easy until we went to our room, which the door was wide open. The room was filled with garbage and the bed unmade. We had to go back down and we were given another room. The next room also was unlocked and open but clean. We decided to stay but ended up leaving. Just didn't feel right.

STAYER BEWARE. I bought a one-night stay for my friend's wedding anniversary. I went based on the ratings and thought this would be perfect, seeing as how they would only be using the room to stay the night while they attended an event close by. Upon arrival, the area is very run down and not as described on the website. Once at the front desk, they were asked to sign a waiver stating they were not liable for any car damage while staying there. According to the front desk, the reason for the waiver is that they have been having recent issues with break-ins and CARS BEING SET ON FIRE. Mind you, there is zero warning about this on the website, and you do not find this out until arrival, after the "refund period." While my friend was waiting in the car during the check-in process a man approached the car and just stood there and stared her down and would not leave her alone. Immediately the front desk was alerted of how horrible the experience was already and the keys were not even made yet. The girl gave an attitude stating, "what do you expect me to do about it." The keys were given right back. I tried to call an IHG sister property nearby who said they would happily help, but Candlewood was still showing as the reservation active and the "room being occupied," so the reservation could not be moved. Barbara at the front desk refused to help or even offer a refund despite this terrible experience and not even stepping foot in the room. She couldn't be bothered. Stay elsewhere.

Nice Property. Everything was clean and comfortable. ne complaint -- the pool was freezing cold. Not a particularly good area in the city. Appears to be a lot of "renewal construction" going on in the neighborhood around the hotel. However, the downtown area is easily walkable from the hotel.

The room was a nice size and was very clean. It had all the essentials needed in the kitchen area. The staff was great.

Candlewood Hotel was clean and close to restaurants and airport. Although you can exchange dirty towels at the front desk, there is no room service unless your stay is st least 7 days. Their website falsely advertise free breakfast (there is no breakfast) which was one of the reason I booked this location!!

The location was great. Having a mini kitchen was nice and thee was plenty of parking I would definitely go back

Overall the hotel was fine and accommodating. The staff was kind but some just seemed sad like a melancholy approach that threw me off a little. I would stay again though.

Beautiful stay, was very comfortable and this is my new place to stay Everytime I come to Connecticut.
