Ce boutique hôtel est l'endroit idéal pour se retrouver au calme, loin des tumultes de la ville. Au milieu d'un jardin luxuriant, avec une vue exceptionnelle surplombant Kandy, c'est la tête dans les nuages que vous vous ressourcer en toute quiétude. Les chambres sont sublimes, lumineuses, spacieuses et confortables .Décorées avec gout, rien ne manque. Se poser là, confortablement, sur son balcon en dégustant un thé tout en contemplant le levé du jour : MAGIQUE ! Le personnel discret est d'une extrême gentillesse. Le restaurant est agréable et la nourriture est très bonne. Le service se fait à table, même au petit-déjeuner (pas de buffet), et toujours avec le sourire. Nous n'avons pas testé les massages ni la piscine faute de temps, mais nous n'avons aucun doute sur ces prestations. Certes cet hôtel est éloigné de tout mais cela en vaut vraiment la peine. Merci à toute l'équipe du Galavilla d'avoir partagé votre petit paradis.

Best experience with the groups ever .... beautiful place and surrounding, kind and helpful people, delicious food, heartfull atmosphere during whole my stay - almost 1 month. Ayurvedic treatment was swell very successful for everybody who has ordered it. Oft I heard the sentence "I feel like newborn". I am happy that we have found another term next year and we will make tradition to be Wellcome in this paradise every year.

Location (views and silence), cleanliness, willingness and smiling attitude of the staff. The staff is able to arrange or recommend a trip, exchange money or wash your clothes. The pool, massage and yoga room with an incredible view of the surrounding mountains is a bonus that pampers you.

Wonderful hotel with extremely attentive, smiling, kind and friendly people. Starting with the reception, through therapists, drivers, bar, cooks, house keepers, gardeners, builders... This beautiful hotel is in the heart of jungle in the mountains with a beautiful view of the hills, where you can watch the sunrise and sunset from the terrace and yet not far from the famous city Kandy. Very beautiful, clean and comfortable place with many lovely details which is pleasure to look at. Everything is possible here :) Excellent food, spacious rooms and beautiful gardens. This place heals your soul and body. I very recommend to spend here some days in time of your traveling (more = better) and feel the atmosphere of deep calm, nature, hospitality, beautiful care, ayurveda treatment or at least massage, delicious meal, yoga, swimming in the pool, comfortable rooms, kind staff. We were suprised, we did not want to move to any other place from that paradise. Must visit.

Beautiful location in the hills. Great breakfast. Lovely dinners. Super service from Roshin and his team! The room was large with a beautiful large balcony. The most sensational bathroom with large window the length of the bath. Minibar and kettle in room. Incessant building noise (they advised us 24 hours before our arrival!) throughout our 10 day stay. Eventually made good with a room discount upon departure. We did many outings to escape the noise. And the pool was quieter. Nonetheless a beautiful hotel, but the tranquility we should have had wasn't there! I'm sure it will be wonderful when finished.

Great location, amazing views, great hotel, great staff especially Anton who was very helpful and went beyond his duties. Currently, Hotel is undergoing some construction/renovation, noise level acceptable. Definitely coming back soon

Beautiful place, in the middle of nature, everything is set up with eye for details. I received such a warm welcome, people were perfectly friendly and attentive. The food is also delicious and big portions, for good prices. Nice trip through the mountains from Kandy by tuk tuk. Lovely place for a getaway, would recommend!

Great nice hotel & Spa, Great Ayurvedic spa facility, Ayurvedic Treatment was very good. Everything was nice. The much better really best Manu for lunch, I would surely choose it again next time I visited Galavilla Hotel & Spa. Great location, Great service & Service team. All services value for the money. High up in the hills outside Kandy we found this garden paradise and a very warm welcome. Personalised service from dear Situ at reception, Jackard of housekeeping, Roshan in the restaurant and Pradeep, sales (and all else) manager made us feel very much at home. The garden alone in this property merits the attention of every garden lover and is a continuous labour of love with hidden surprises around every corner. As for our room, it was extremely spacious and the wide wrap around balcony provided us with spectacular views of the Knuckles Range. One night was all too short. This small hotel offers pickup from as far as Colombo airport. They really make sure that you feel at home from the moment your plane touches down. We didn't use the outdoor Yoga studio or the Ayurveda spa, but both look beautiful and serene, as did the swimming pool and jaccuzi. This hotel was a truly surprising find and we will be back - only this time for a longer stay. I recorded a video of birdsongs here which is my best one yet of all of Sri Lanka. What a place!

Stay in Galavilla was absolutely perfect, all my wishes were fulfiled thanks to lovely people, working in Galavilla. All the rooms are beautiful and clean with terrace, where you have stunning view of local nature . You can enjoy a delicious cuisine of Sri Lanka, go for a massage there and reliable and always friendly service. I can absolutely recommend Galavilla, the best expirience ever.👍👍👍

My girlfriend and I spontaneously decided to treat ourselves to a stop at a great hotel on our round trip. We are really happy that we chose the Galavilla Boutique Hotel. For 3 days and nights we enjoyed ourselves in a super well-kept, fantastically located facility. Pradeep and his team were insanely attentive, read our every wish from our lips, made everything possible and conjured up a super romantic dinner for us on Valentine's Day. Breakfast and dinner were each time very deliciously prepared and lovingly decorated. My girlfriend and I have each chosen a total of 4h different massages, which thanks to the expertise of our great masseuse and the beautiful ambience, were very relaxing. All in all it was an absolute pampering program from A to Z for 3 nights with a great price-performance ratio. Many thanks to the Galavilla team for the wonderful time!

Food and some staff were good, everything else was mediocre and needs urgent attention. The pool was not cleaned, even though the hotel knew we were arriving. Rooms and suites do not come with a shower only just a bath tub.

This is an exclusive and wonderful, hidden little paradise in the heart of Kandys' beautiful hill surroundings. Extremely high quality in service, food and hygiene. The staff was just amazing - from the front desk manager, marketing and sales manager to the chef, the restaurant manager and all service members - outstandingly kind - they did not hestitate to go every extra mile to make us happy. The view from the balcony is magnificent. The rooms were all very clean. The furnishings are unique, modern and beautiful. We did not miss anything. It was all just perfect and we can highly recommand to choose this wonderful place.
