excellent place to stay. Ideal location, magnificent views and apartments cannot be faulted. Premises immaculately clean and resident managers are fantastic and very helpful if anything is needed. We have stayed here 4 times over 12 years and it gets better every time. If you are looking for great views of ocean and beach and the marina and beyond, get an apartment on the corner of building and above tree level. abso;utely fantsatic.

When we booked to stay in the Studio apartment we were told it has 'the best ocean view in Mooloolaba' and that is certainly no understatement. Magnificent. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well appointed, with all of the facilities one would expect in a smaller unit such as this. Just ideal for a couple. The Hosts, Sidney and Lauren, are the friendliest, most obliging, and welcoming Hosts we have met in many years of travel around Australia and overseas. With direct access to the beach and a short walk to all of the coffee shops, dining places, and shops that anybody would want 84 is in a very convenient location. Highly recommended. We will return.

We had a wonderful stay at The Spit, Syd & Lauren could not have been more accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The location is prime position directly onto the board walk & beach. Our apartment had everything we required & was comfortable light & airy. We would defiantly return

84 The Spit is in the perfect location on the beach and next to the best restaurants in the coast. I highly recommend it for a couples retreat or a family holiday. There is also a seafood market ten minutes walk out the spit that provides super fresh prawns fish oysters etc

What a wonderful find! We were warmly welcomed by hosts Lynlea and Ray . We spent 3 nights in a well appointed unit with amazing uninterrupted views in this great well maintained apartment block and loved every minute of it . It offered direct access to the beach and boardwalk . The Wharf and Esplanade with shops , good cafes / restaurants , SeaWorld etc only a “stones throw away “. I so enjoyed the great pool within the complex too . Thank you Ray and Lynlea for a special few days.

The staff were amazing ! They are so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The large deck over looking the pool was lovely to sit and enjoy a beer. Quiet spot. Walking distance to the Wharf. Tons of shops and restaurants along with the aquarium. 10/10 would recommend staying at this place.

The two bedroom apartment was so spacious and plenty of room for 3 cots and two adults. The service we were given was above and beyond. So friendly and helpful. It is also perfectly located, close to everything.

From the super comfy bed to the large and very comfortably furnished apartment, our room was just perfect. Absolute beachfront with easy access to the esplanade, and the view from our apartment was just gorgeous. Uninterrupted views of the ocean and Mooloolaba. It was hard to look away from this view. We even saw whales in the distance and the sound of the waves lulled us off to sleep each night. Sydney and Louren’s care and kindness took this holiday to a whole new level. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel like part of the 84 The Spit family from the first moment we arrived. This is definitely the place to stay in Mooloolaba

Enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. Reception were super informative and friendly. The facilities in the apartment were fantastic. All very clean and provided everything from laundry liquid, kids bowls, cooking utensils to cleaning utensils. The location is perfect with the wharf promenade and beach just a 1min walk. Not close to any major supermarkets but there were enough convenient stores around to get what you needed. Only down side for us in the apartment was the bedrooms didn’t have aircon. We have 2 kids under 4 so it was a bit annoying in the heated nights but nothing major or off putting. Shall definitely come back at stay if we come back to Mooloolaba.

We recently stayed with our 3 boys. We had such a wonderful holiday and could not fault a single thing about the complex. Location and views are obviously second to none! We love staying on The Spit (v the busy Esplanade) as it is quiet and you literally have direct access to the beach. The Esplanade is a short walk as is the Wharf. There is an abundance of beach equipment you can borrow and the pool is great. Apartment (21) was recently renovated, immaculate and had everything we needed. Ray and Lynlea are fantastic hosts and made everything about our stay enjoyable. Can’t wait until our next holiday!!

We came back to Mooloolaba for about the 20th time this July to escape Melbourne's winter for a couple of weeks. We've stayed in a number of places over the years as our needs have changed but have been lucky enough to be at 84 the Spit for the last 5 years. We're in our 60's, we fly up & usually don't need a car here. Can always get a taxi or bus if needed. Beach is out the front, no roads to cross. Within 10 minutes walk l can find a quiet place to fish, my wife has shops to check out & there are multiple places to eat. If you want to walk further the paths along the beachfront are fantastic. The water temperature in July is coolish but l comfortably stay in for 20 minutes then jump into the heated pool on the way back if needed. If you want to relax in your room & read or take in the view, the views are mesmerising. We were on level 8 with an open balcony. Every unit is different but we've always had comfortable beds, great furniture, great kitchens & utensils & fantastic bathrooms.Managers Sidney & Lauren are accommodating in every way possible. They came out & hugged us goodbye when we left yesterday.! Only 50 weeks till we're back again. Cheers, lan.

Lauren and Sydney are fantastic hosts who are welcoming, caring and work hard to help make your stay a real joy. 84 The Spit is a fabulous location on the beach with superb accommodation and views. Great for beach, walking, shopping and eating and best of all, relaxing. You’d be crazy not to give this place a go!

Terrible unit assigned as a “Deluxe” unit Mis informed by former manager that it was a deluxe apartment with just a dated kitchen. The whole unit was outdated with No air conditioning Fan broken Wardrobes musty smell Extremely small showers and bathroom, drummy tiles and totally outdated
