錫達拉皮茲萬楓套房飯店(Fairfield Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids)

We wanted a hotel with a hot tub and a pool, guess what? The hot tub was OUT OF ORDER! I guess you need to call the location to verify if all of the amenities that you are paying for are in working order. This was not-big disappoin**ent. It was clean. We asked for a top floor room and that was honored, We were able to check in at 2:25 pm which said it was 3 pm or later check in. It was a good location since we stayed to go to the Paramount Theater that Saturday night. It was relatively quiet and rooms were very nice.

The whole hotel smelled so musty. The mattress had a huge stain. The AC didn’t work. Everything was just old and worn.

The one complaint we have, is the room was not much larger than a closet. The room was located next to the linen room and is made for 1 person at most. Since we were paying the same as those in normal sized rooms, we feel we got short changed.

It was a nice distance to the National Czech and Slovak Museum. Not too far and not too close.

Hotel is nicely maintained and set up with conveniences. No room cleaning was offered or happened although we were able to ask for and receive towels, toilet paper and tissues during our 4 night stay. Melinda at front desk went out of her way to be helpful in helping me sort out how to get name changed on my Marriott account (after 8 year deceased husband name remained.)

Overall, enjoyed my stay at this establishment. Check in was a little rough as my flight didn’t get in until late and the check in attendant was very new on the job. However, all staff were very pleasant and the room was very nice with fridge, coffee maker and microwave. My only disappoin**ent was the lack of a waffle maker at the breakfast buffet. Eggs were nice but I was on vacation and wanted something sweet to indulge in.

Very nice motel ! Buddy who checked us in was Amazing ~very friendly and helpful !!!

Although not bad, just not up to the standard of Fairfield Inn most Fairfield Inn have a mini Keurig in the room. (which is why when we travel we bring extra K cups, so that we can have coffee in our room with no issues and having traveled much at many Fairfield. That’s always been the case )These did not, they did, however, have the older drip version of a coffee maker, but then you need the coffee packs. also the lighting was extremely dark in the room just two lights by the bed. Definitely, reading was not an option. The staff was friendly and so there were no issues there.
