we only stayed there for one night since that's how long we stayed in Evora. this hotel is a quaint boutique hotel, close to everything in town! I'm also so impressed by its massive wooden doors. beautiful hotel, beautiful town! will go back to stay there if we visit Evora again

I am very disappointed. This hotel is not designed for couples and families but for mass tourist transit, and it is not all clean or welcoming. Our first night had five busloads of tourists, and everything was designed for quantity rather than quality. The coffee at breakfast could be better, a very bottom-range robusta bean. I had to order a pay-for coffee from the bar, which was only marginally better as I could not stand the bitterness of the breakfast coffee. The buffet breakfast is unappetising, the pancakes dry, the butter still frozen, little choice, etc. As for the rooms. There is no hot water jug nor spoon for me to prepare my carioca de lemaõ, which I drink for my health. Only water bottles were available at a hefty price. The beds were made the Asian way: no upper sheet, just a very thin duvet with a cover and while it is acceptable to some, it was a novelty to me. There were hygiene issues; the dispensers of hand sanitiser were all empty. The sauna and indoor pool shower areas stank of urine. (the hotel reception told us it was probably a faulty canalisation… but the toilets are a floor below the sauna, and maintenance should have closed the area for repairs!!!) The jacuzzi had vert de gris algae growth over its vents, people were wearing outdoor shoes around the indoor pool area, judging from looking at the dirt on the ground tiles, and no one supervised guests for safety or hygiene. It was so dirty. After that, I did not enter the pool for fear of catching something. It was a very frustrating experience, considering I chose to stay in that hotel for its indoor pool and sauna. Having worked and stayed in hotels worldwide, I thought I knew well what quality standard to expect from a 4-star hotel!!!!! I am fast revising my beliefs and expectations downward, as far as Evora Hotel is concerned!!!

Not a great start but did get better through the 4 days. Our arrival was frosty, especially madame manager who couldn’t crack a smile for her customers. Next it’s a 4 star hotel that wanted payment for the room upfront. Then they didn’t accept Amex and finally, laundry service was suspended but they could give us the details of do it yourself launderettes in the town. Not a good start to our expensive stay. That said we had a very nice bungalow, well maintained and a nice cool retreat from the blistering summer heat. Great shower pressure, comfortable beds. All the important things for a vacation. The weird process of having to book specific times for breakfast and dinner didn’t make much sense, especially since there were never more than 4 tables occupied for the times we were there. Could be a process still in place from the pandemic. The jewel was the roof pool and solarium. A lovely place to chill after tourism. The staff we engaged with were very nice and helpful. It’s a shame our initial experience was tainted by management and some obscure policies you’d not expect for a hotel with 4 stars.

Gorgeous retreat in nature. Rooms are large and well designed, with lots of interesting details and a big outside terrace. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the hotel facilities and the area. The spa is small but very welcome especially in December when outdoor pools are too cold for most. Would love to return in the summer when there are so many more experiences to enjoy.

我和我的女兒住了一晚，發現維多利亞石的一切都應有盡有。工作人員非常友好和樂於助人。但是最好的部分是意式烤麵包！ ！我們有史以來最好的！ ！謝謝VSH！ ！ ！ ！

第二次訪問這家酒店。第一次住在修道院的客房豪華套房,有一個大露台,享有該地區的壯觀景色。如果可以,我們會再次預訂。豪華設計室也很好,很舒服。工作人員都非常友好,樂於助人,效率高。在Divinus餐廳的晚餐和我們第一次訪問時一樣愉快,自助早餐也是如此。燈光和色彩計劃在本來可以作爲寒冷的休息區出現的地方營造了一種柔軟的乾淨氛圍。建議參觀教堂 - 修復得很漂亮。

We had spent 3 nights at this Hilton and we got a top rate service, starting from the reception, with Moises, Raquel, Davide, the room services are excellent, as the different restaurants, where I remember just Celso, Diogo, Paolo. The breakfast display is amazing. The rooms large with excellent beds, plus free cover parking for gold members. If in Evora don’t look around this is the place.
